I just purchased a Panasonic KX-TG6572 cordless phone system, and the instructions say I can leave the handsets on the chargers when the phones are not in use. The handsets have nickel metal hydride batteries. I've researched this battery type on the internet, and from what I've read, you should deep cycle this type battery for optimum battery performance and life. Why would Panasonic recommend leaving them on the chargers ?
