Poor Song Selection

Melissa Davis "Queen Bee", Amazon
24 March 2014
  • Summary: I've taken many Zumba classes & I realize this is based on Latin Dance but the song selection is very poor. Not many modern songs to choose from, so my workout gets old using this game. The game overall is good, there's even a break down mode to help with teaching the dance moves.

Okay For Dancers

R. Shehane "Ron", Amazon
20 January 2014
  • Summary: Nothing to brag about. You really need to be good at dancing to enjoy or use this from my perspective. You get lost and stay lost during the songs from the momentary cues they give and the incomplete "learn the steps" selections.

Just about ok, not too involving and inviting

AarJay, Amazon
14 December 2013
  • Summary: The game is not too involving, the moves are quite average and the songs aren't too great either. The graphics could also use a huge improvement, by golly this is 2013, the graphics should look like crazy good.

The exercises are still good but achievements are bugged

tai0316 "tai0316", Amazon
7 November 2013
  • Summary: I rated it only okay because the calories do not calculate correctly on the Xbox 360 which means that getting some of the achievements would be practically impossible. For example you will do a routine that should burn 100 or 200 calories but the game says you burned 12 calories.

Doesnt follow body movement well

Kohl Visser, Amazon
7 August 2013
  • Summary: I ordered the game, it game early in the mail which was a plus but the service wasn't the problem the game doesn't seem to follow the moves you make that well for the Kinect and says your doing it wrong when your actually following along with the moves pretty well.

I like the PS3 Version Better

GamerGirl, Amazon
30 January 2013
  • Summary: I purchased Zumba Fitness for the Kinect last month, in hopes that it would be better than the Playstation 3 version. I enjoy playing the PS3 version of it, but dislike having to either wear the strap-on belt to hold the motion controller (which never stays in one place on my body), or else I have...

Calories Burned Not Accurate

LindaSue, Amazon
18 November 2012
  • Summary: I don't know if I got a defective product or what. But, I can workout for 45 minutes with Zumba Fitness Rush for Xbox 360 Kinect and I'll burn almost 1,000 calories. But, when I workout for 44 minutes with the Zumba Fitness Core for Xbox 360 Kinect it shows I've burned between 49 and 160 calories.

good but not great

Amazon Customer, Amazon
17 October 2012
  • Summary: I received my Zumba core yesterday, The music is better than previous games but many of the dance steps are the same in each song, not much new cretivity in choreography. If you've bought other Zumba Kinect games , you might want to wait because the only difference is the kicking that builds the...

Schizophrenic music approach

C. Jones, Amazon
28 March 2012
  • Summary: I really, truly wanted to like this game. I am a huge fan of Your Shape Fitness Evolved 2012 and love the idea of using the Kinect to have fun/get into shape. Pros: Beautiful graphics, nice dancing Cons: You must like dancing to all types of music and looking like a pole dancer (as a man - I wasn't...

Zumba Fan

Terry, Amazon
27 March 2012
  • Summary: I am a fan of the xbox Zumba games and was quite excited with the first Zumba and downright estatic with Zumba Rush but cannot really get into Zumba Core just yet. I like but can't say I love it just yet as I keep reverting back to Zumba Rush.
