Zeno Clash Ultimate Edition

Family Friendly Gaming
2 February 2013
  • Excerpt: The WMG knows there is an audience out there who will eat up Zeno Clash Ultimate Edition, just finding that audience may be very difficult. On the other hand, the WMG would not want to meet anyone in a dark alley who is into this Xbox 360 game. Atlus publishes a lot of role playing games, so everyone takes notice when they try their hand at something else. After all TrackMania DS was a fantastic video game. Zeno Clash Ultimate Edition is a first person fighter.

Review: Zeno Clash: Ultimate Edition (Microsoft Xbox 360)

Diehard GameFAN

  • Summary: Zeno Clash: Ultimate Edition is a worthy revamp of an already capable title. The experience is one-of-a-kind, the first-person perspective is handled well and there is a lot of new content to be seen in this new version. There are of course some fallbacks such as repetition, mechanics that fail to break up the gameplay in an entertaining manner, a hard-to-follow story and a very unsatisfying conclusion that do hold the title back from being top-notch.

Zeitgeist Review
13 July 2010
  • Summary: I don’t know, this game was just kind of mediocre to me. The art style was really neat and the combat was fun, but it was short and the story really didn’t draw me in at all. Granted, it’s only 15 bucks, I’d probably still only recommend this to people looking for a melee oriented first person shooter with a really unique look and feel and kind of just need something to pass the time until the next big hit comes around. What do you guys think?

Expert Review

13 June 2010
  • Excerpt: The highest compliment one could give indie hit Zeno Clash would be that it’s unlike anything we see in big budget game development today. Chilean developer ACE Team has crafted a unique story, style and gameplay mechanic the marketing department would never approve of because the guys in research say we all want more steroidal space marines.

Zeno Clash Ultimate Edition

Game Over Online
6 June 2010
  • Excerpt: Zeno Clash is a unique game with its one-two punch combat, original story and imaginatively realized world. It’s like entering the dream world of Tim Burton, with a melee heavy combat system that’s reminiscent, but much deeper than games like Condemned. But is this ultimate edition worth your hard-earned cash? Find out in my review of Zeno Clash: Ultimate Edition.
