X-Men: The Official Game

True achievements
17 May 2007
  • Conclusion: Once you get the achievements you unlocked costumes which look pretty good, havent played the new game but cant wait. The game is set in a story mode with 3 playable characters. If you dont know the buttons dont worry it will give ya trainning at the beginning. But over all i would give this game a 4/5 just for being a fan of xmen but game play 3/5 .

  • Excerpt: Activision is one of the few publishers with a history of bucking the transmogrification-gone-awry trend and making cool games based on cool movies, like the superior Spider-Man- and the above-average Shrek-based games. They just neglected dodge the botch here.

X-Men the Official Game

1 June 2006
  • Excerpt: X-Men The official game is supposed to be a story bridge, joining the events of the films all the way from X-Men, to X2: X-men United and even the new film X-Men 3 the last stand.  It's a bridge filled with pot holes and hazards that make you wonder why you even bothered to go the route in the first place. Following the characters Wolverine, Iceman and Nightcrawler through some 28 missions battling some villains here and there and the organization known as Hydra.

X-Men: The Official Movie Game

Empire Online
29 June 2007
  • Summary: Further blurring the line between media, this X-Men brawler bridges the gap between X2 and the new film, plugging plotholes and explaining why Nightcrawler isn’t in the latest flick. But even with a pacy script penned by X-Men writers Chris Claremont and Zak Penn, this latest spin-off is bitterly disappointing.
