Summary: Cool concept..cool powers and power trees, but it's missing on a lot of other cylinders. The action is repetitious and until you unlock more powers you do a lot of button mashing, with totally mindless AI...as a fan of the marvel universe, I was hoping for more and though I don't often trust in critics reviews, this i one time I wish I had listened
Summary: I am a big Marvel fan and enjoyed this game for what it is, but ultimately it is rather limited and somewhat dull by the end. Die-hard comic fans will also be really annoyed as you go at the beginning of the game from being a brand-new mutant and yet by the end of it you are beating up Juggernaut, sentinels, and even Magneto. Even apart from this ridiculousness, the game is decent but tends to get rather dull by the end.
Should have been X-Men’s answer to The Knights of The Old Republic, it is not.

Summary: Should have been one of the greatest games of all time, unfortunately it isn’t. It is like Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, except instead of playing as many of your favorite heroes, you focus on one of three unknowns, have a more intimate camera placement, and choice-driven narrative. The choice driven narrative would have been just about the greatest thing ever in an X-Men game, but the “choices” deceptive.
Summary: The title sums it up. I've said to friends since Ultimate Alliance, Marvel needs a new production company. It's not entirely Activision's fault. Compared to Bioware, Activision is over strained. Titles like Mass Effect & Dragon age get nearly full attention of Bioware's staff; while upsetting titles like Spiderman Edge of Time or this game are pumped out and moved past. This is a fun beat 'em up style game with a good story for fans of the X-men.
Summary: The gameplay is pretty fun and challenging. The story is extremely short though. I played for a few days, a couple hours at a time and I was finished before I knew it. The characters are interesting and good to see some lesser known heroes rather than the same X-men. Objects intended to be found throughout the game are simple to find and the combined powers are mediocre.
Lots of potential, but falls far short of expectations

Summary: There's not much for me to say that hasn't already been said by other reviewers; disappointingly linear story, mediocre gameplay, and not much replayability. It's really quite a shame, seeing as how good console RPGs are increasingly harder to come by. That said, it was a very good idea, and the game does have its moments. I found it mildly entertaining, but I wouldn't recommend it to RPG fans. Diehard X-men fans may enjoy it more than your average gamer.
Summary: The mechanics are solid enough. This plays like a beat em up. The game is linear which doesn't bother me much. The things that do bother me is this only took me 5 hours to complete. The story is pretty interesting, but they could have dome so much more with it. A deeper story for each character would have made it far more interesting. Better customization was needed., like customizing your character from scratch would have been more fun.
