Easy, kind of boring

Jennifer Robinson, Amazon
19 December 2014
  • Summary: As other reviews have said, it's a short game and pretty non-free will, as in you don't really get all that many choices or options when it comes to your characters destiny as you pretty much end up in the same place at the end of the game, regardless.

Good

AndrewAlexander777, Amazon
12 March 2014
  • Summary: I believe that this game is a tad underrated. The graphics are not the best in the world (like an early 360 game). The gameplay gets very repetitive, and doesn't break any new ground. The choices and RPG elements are not truly needed. No, it's not an innovative game. Yet, it's a fun one.

Good thing i waited...and should have waited longer

Gino Nachef, Amazon
13 January 2014
  • Summary: The price has dropped from 15$ to 10$ since i bought the game 3 days ago from Amazon. The game play is kind of slow and a bit choppy. I've had my eye on this game since it first came out and cost 60$ thank god i didn't buy it for that price.

Fun Game

Rease Rudick, Amazon

  • Summary: Its a fun game, not very challenging but more straight forward. It is still fun to play it especially if you like X-men

Wish I had listened

The Dude, Amazon
6 June 2013
  • Summary: Cool concept..cool powers and power trees, but it's missing on a lot of other cylinders. The action is repetitious and until you unlock more powers you do a lot of button mashing, with totally mindless AI..

Decent game but not great

A. D. Neal, Amazon
8 April 2013
  • Summary: I am a big Marvel fan and enjoyed this game for what it is, but ultimately it is rather limited and somewhat dull by the end. Die-hard comic fans will also be really annoyed as you go at the beginning of the game from being a brand-new mutant and yet by the end of it you are beating up Juggernaut,...

Should have been X-Men’s answer to The Knights of The Old Republic, it is not.

Mark, Amazon
1 April 2013
  • Summary: Should have been one of the greatest games of all time, unfortunately it isn’t. It is like Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, except instead of playing as many of your favorite heroes, you focus on one of three unknowns, have a more intimate camera placement, and choice-driven narrative.

It's no KOTOR, but Activision isn't Bioware

Pugslee, Amazon
23 March 2013
  • Summary: The title sums it up. I've said to friends since Ultimate Alliance, Marvel needs a new production company. It's not entirely Activision's fault. Compared to Bioware, Activision is over strained.

Fun gameplay, short story

Bryan A., Amazon
31 January 2013
  • Summary: The gameplay is pretty fun and challenging. The story is extremely short though. I played for a few days, a couple hours at a time and I was finished before I knew it. The characters are interesting and good to see some lesser known heroes rather than the same X-men.

Lots of potential, but falls far short of expectations

Dan, Amazon
21 January 2013
  • Summary: There's not much for me to say that hasn't already been said by other reviewers; disappointingly linear story, mediocre gameplay, and not much replayability. It's really quite a shame, seeing as how good console RPGs are increasingly harder to come by.
