One Major & Fatal Flaw

Andrew Murray, Amazon
9 August 2012
  • Summary: This game looks and handles just fine. Until you lock up with another wrestler. At that moment, a giant picture of a random controller button will appear on the screen and you have to press the same button at the EXACT moment it appears.

Some glaring problems

Ted Long, Amazon
12 June 2010
  • Summary: I was semi-excited to finally pick up this game. First off the game has a lot of classic characters, but are missing a few like Macho Man who had some classic matches that could have easily been put into the game. I like the video sequences that play before the Wrestlemania rewrite, etc.

This Should Have Been So Much Better

David Girod, Amazon
6 May 2009
  • Summary: I actually waited awhile before picking up "Legends of Wrestlemania" simply because I had laid down enough cash for "Smackdown vs. Raw 2009" and hadn't really played that all too much. Didn't want to drop another $60 for "Legends of Wrestlemania" and have another game just gathering dust.

Great Legends. Horrible controls.

E. J. Swank, Amazon
1 April 2009
  • Summary: IMO, I think this game could've been so much more. If they only incorporated the controls from Smackdown vs. Raw '09 I think this game would've been rated higher. Once I read the controls setting in the manual I knew this game was gonna be horrible to control.

Needs work

J. Hicks, Amazon
28 March 2009
  • Summary: So i went and bought this game brand new. This game needs some serious work before a sequel. First more legends. They call it a legends of wrestlemania. Yet no Macho Man, Ricky Steamboat, Paul Ordorff, George "the Animal" Steele, Miss Elizabeth, IRS, i could go on and on.

A Very Big Let-Down

Mr. Movie Man "mOVIE mAN", Amazon
26 March 2009
  • Summary: The graphics are amazing- very realistic and life-like! The roster is amazing- lots of classic WWE stars who all took part in the Wrestlemania series! The compatibility with Smack-Down is also amazing- giving you the chance to combine the present with the past!

Buckets of Nostalgia but sadly as controllable as...a bucket

iamasadli..., Ciao
2 February 2010
  • Excerpt: When it comes to wrestling games the contemporary games often date incredibly quickly, in fact for those who can remember WWF No Mercy the changing landscape of the WWF (now WWE) saw “The Big Show” taken from the game very late in production due to the fact he was sent to development in real life.
  • Pros: Lots of legends, nostalgia, Great msuic, Some fun .  .  .
  • Cons: .  .  . limited fun, terrible controls, limted gameplay,
