Summary: Parents need to know that Wipeout 3 is a simulation of the popular TV show with which it shares its name. It contains about the same level of violence -- players will see contestants getting whacked and falling in water, sometimes in replays from new angles -- though the humor is perhaps a little bit cleaner (unlike the TV show, the game's virtual contestants never utter any profanity that needs to be bleeped out).
Excerpt: Wipeout the game show was introduced by ABC in summer of 2008, and the show has continued through five full seasons of ridiculous obstacle course fun. The show is clearly inspired by the wacky game shows from Japan and features the iconic giant red ball obstacle over water that is used in a number of courses contestants must pass in order to the reach the end.
