Summary: I have always been fascinated with Greek legends and stories of their ancient heroes. And as I played so many Video Games based on those legends, I have found no better Game than 'Warriors: Legends of Troy' to reflect those legends. Not only the good graphics, good battle system and the its good ancient-war simulation, that makes this game one of my favorites, it's also about the concept of playing as every single hero of the Greek legends, in different chapters and...
Summary: This is a fun little game, which is great for the times when you don't really want to bother with more intricate games, and multiplayer, but for jamming with another person in a relaxed manner.
Summary: I really don't want waste time explaining what this game is about. I bought it because I like the "warriors" series of games and have played and enjoyed them all. Therefore I was expecting something similar. I guess at one level it is. The story of Troy is good as far as I got with this because I became some infuriated by the manner of the game that I gave up and threw it in the bin. This game must be one of the worst I have ever played.
Summary: First of all, I've had a lot of fun playing this game. This game is NOT based on the Iliad. The Iliad recounts the anger of Achilleus from Agamemnon taking Briseis to the death of Hektor. This game also include a much MUCH wider timeline (the war between the Achaeans and the Trojans lasted ten years, the Iliad spans less than a year) as well as a lot of pseudo mythology. Achilleus fighting a statue of Apollo was a bit of a downer for the Classics student in me.
Summary: this is amazing. firstly the graphics are good and if you have ever played spartan total warrior it's like this. Its got a very long campaign and a good arena so when you have completed the campaign you can fight your favouirte heroes or villains. An amazing game and a must buy. AMAZING.
Conclusion: Just finished the game and thought id see what reviews its been getting, saw it had 3 out of 5 overall on here with someone giving it 1 star, no doubt they never put much time into it. This game to me is an overloooked little gem. The graphics are not upto par with alot of todays games out just now but to me it makes up for that in playability & story.
Conclusion: I got the game on the day of release and was eager to play it. However, I don't like the limitations on customization, or that you can't choose your character. The game let itself down from the Dynasty Warriors and Empires series, in terms of customization and the control of your characters you can make.It makes up for a little bit, to that the story is utterly brilliant. I also love the combos and finishers.
