Summary: Definitely one of the weaker first person shooters I've played. There are elements of it that I like, and the gameplay isn't bad, but the campaign just drags on, and on, and on... and then on some more, at which point you'll realize that thank god, it's almost over... only to discover that, oh god, it's not over yet, and then later you'll learn that you aren't even half way through the campaign yet at that point.
Summary: this game is awful, for a game that is so new the graphics look like they are from 2006. another thing is it is dreadfully boring all of the enemy are the same. the first thing i noticed after starting was that the game look exactly like gears of war, but worse. also the characters have no personality, they are bland and have no emotion. overall i hate this game and would never recommend it to anyone.
Summary: I am not certain where all these great reviews are coming from. This game is simply not fun to play. The single player campaign is beyond challenging. It is unnecessarily difficult for the sole purpose of artificially lengthening the single player campaign. I like a good challenge and I don't expect games to be easy but Space Marines was made only for hard core professional gamers. If you are a casual gamer then you are wasting your money. BUY THIS GAME AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Summary: I loved this game. I'm not a "gamer" as a few of my friends are, but I like pvp games. My gamer friends call this "deathmatch." The Good: What is awesome about Space Marine pvp is that even if someone "steals your kill", you still get assists, and savior credit. One nuance of this game's pvp is that they expect you to die, and in many other pvp games you try not to. The point is to get back in there, and win your game. Be aggressive!
Summary: I was very excited to try out another warhammer franshise game, Always being a fan of the rts and the sleeper hit firewalker I was ready to tear into this one with visceral glee! It started awesome, I heal by executing enemies in a glorious blood bath. I've got many different weapons to choose between, but melee was certainly the fun part. The orcs voice overs were awesome, and I really felt like I was doing good when I waded into battle to protect 20 or so guardsmen.
Enjoyable for a WH40k fan, everyone else stay away

Summary: With the quality of most of the big brand/franchise games these days, I really wonder how something bearing a title as prestigious as Warhammer 40,000 can flop this badly. Basically, it's a shooter-on-rails. There is no exploration, or additional parts of the map to go looking through for the sake of lore or hidden content or achievements - minus the audio logs, which are interesting but reveal little by way of story, and have almost no effect on making the player feel...
Summary: yea... this game looked like it would be good but it really isn't. it is non-challenging, they talking and running are just upsetting. you watch the trailers and are like oh my god that looks like it will be so much fun. then when you turn it on your like wow this game isn't fun at all. save your money people.
Summary: I honestly was expecting something a lot better. I play the table top miniature game of Warhammer 40k and relic really dropped the ball. I own both the Space Marine and Chaos Space Marine Codex's (rulebooks) and they got a lot of the paint schemes for the Chapters/Warbands wrong, and made up some chapters I've never even heard of!
Summary: Horrible game for the money, I felt more like i was playing a beta the whole time with how many bugs were still in the game. about 50% of the time i was unable to use most of my weapons. During boss fights there are times where you need to use all of your weapons which is a total of four that you can hold at one time. when you wanted to chose a weapon 2 of the 4 would be blanked out. But there were times at the same boss where all the weapons were usable.
Summary: This is a huge disappointment. Game play is bland and ends up being is a unresponsive button masher. The controls are really bad leaving you waiting for the marine to complete the combo as the game goes in and out of slow motion. If your a huge 40K fan and really feel the need to buy this, I suggest you wait till this pile of trash is sold as a pre-owned. This game is worse than the TDK version of Robotech Battlecry where you couldn't invert the controls.
