Good Warhammer 40k title.

  • Summary: This is the most fun I have had in a game for a long time. The story is kind of thin, but the weapons and enemies are close to the lore. The voice acting is alright. The report from the Bolter is so satisfying, but nowhere near as satisfying as charging into a group of Orks and cutting them to chunks with the Chainsword. This game seems to like its quick time events, and the end is a complete cliff-hanger that will probably not be resolved since THQ went under.

  • Summary: The game is great! If you've played the table top version of 40K, this is just like t. It's exciting and tough, but not so hard that you can't enjoy it. I love the game!

  • Summary: This was my 1st experience into the world of Warhammer. I didn't really know what to expect....but I was happily surprised! Its a 3rd person shooter (which I like) the story mode was fun, and kept you intrested in the. It has a nice multiplayer mode. We're you can stand along side your battle brothers up to 4. And try to defeat wave after wave of orks until you hit the bonus level. Or battle against each other for fun and glory.

  • Summary: A co-worker of mine recommended this game to me, and I'm not too familiar with warhammer 40k, aside from the fact that it exists, but I picked it up out of curiosity. At the start, a few things seemed a bit odd: the faux-British accents on the Orks, the mangled Latin, the gigantomungous protagonists, but I found out that source material explains all that quite well. The game itself is a bit more complex than a simple shooter.

My Kingdom for a Chainsword

  • Summary: The Warhammer franchise is a well-known if yet still surprisingly niche-like universe. A world of eternal war between races familiar and not, spanning over thousands of years of bloodshed in the name of conquest -- with thick British accents and an overt sincerity to character that most fiction would have trouble taking seriously.

Space Marine - A great "sleeper" Game

TravisH , GameStop

  • Summary: It's been a few months since I've played this so I don't remember it all but anyway... Space Marine is probably a game that not many know of, but it actually is a really great game. To me the game plays like a mix of Gears of War and a bit of Hack N' Slash. The control layout and weapon cycling is very similar to Gears, being able to hold a few weapons and using the d-pad to switch, so if you've played Gears you'll be able to figure it out very fast.
