Summary: The day I got this game I played it for a couple of hours and enjoyed it. It was strangely addicting. Then on about the third day of playing I couldn't force myself to put the game in my Xbox 360. The game is so repetitive that it gets boring after 3 or 4 hours. There are so many better games out there that I wouldn't recommend buying this unless you had almost ever game out there. I guess if you like planting a garden for pinatas then you may like this.
Summary: Game is too complex for 6-8 years old. Some instructions would help too! The kids get bored with it very quickly. Instead buy Lego Star Wars. My grandson plays Lego Star Wars for days at a time and never gets bored.
Summary: Thought it was a fun casual game, just like the first one. Only (big) problem. After getting really far; my save file became corrupt some how. I was even careful about not turning off the consol while the save was in progress and everything. And now I'm not motivated to start again. I would be interested to know if anyone else had this problem...
Summary: im 16 and my sister is 15 so everyone knows well, i rented viva pinata and i was excited at the most. i did have alot of fun in the beginning but as soo as you reach level 35(which takes around 11 hours of gameplay) it all goes down hill. at times the game is annoying because of all the bad things happening in your garden but it is fun managing and getting new pinatas. my sister also got bored and shes only level 20. i would tell anyone to RENT THIS GAME FIRST.
Summary: I've played Viva Pinata about 5 times now, playing for about an hour each time, and honestly, i cant say i see the point in it... I read reviews saying it was a highly pointless game that had no real purpose, but i also read that it was very addictive and that it could keep you entertained for hours, which is why i bought it. I unfortunately have to disagree. The game is boring, you buy a seed, you plant the seed, you wait for it to grow into a plant, and you sell it...
Excerpt: "I bought Viva Piñata not long after buying the Xbox, however I picked it up about once and left it on the shelf for ages thinking 'this isn't for me'. Then earlier this year I decided to give it another go as it was pointless having a game that I wasn't playing in the house. This time I managed to give it a lot more time. Viva Piñata is set on Piñata Island where there a wild piñata who are looking for a garden to call their home. The idea of the ...
Pros: Colourful, cute and easy to play
Cons: It gets boring quickly and I paid out for a special edition that really wasnt special !
Viva Pinata (Xbox 360): Viva Pintata: A game for kids?
30 March 2009
Summary: I didn't intentionally go out and buy this game, but rather it came with my Xbox 360 and was one of the very first games to grace the inside of the console. Viva Pinata is game which basic objective is to construct a garden using your trusty spade and attract up to 60 different species of Pinata to come and live there. Unfortunatly even though I like the graphics and the concept-I found the game rather confusing.
Summary: Bucking the trend here, but I found this game to be annoying. The reviews make it sound like some kind of brilliant, psychedelic experiment. Granted it looks beautiful, but its 'sandbox' format is so loose as to make the whole thing utterly pointless. Growing flowers, mating made-up animals, things go 'whee! in high voices', quick make sure the 'butterscat' doesn't eat the 'spandimant' or something... on and on and on.. with no discernable point... and?
Viva Pinata (Xbox 360): Not as cute and friendly as it looks!
9 September 2008
Summary: A game for both adults and kids! Look after your own animal farm! Yes, but until playing this game I had no idea that it would actually involve as much stress, mundaness and downright hard work as a real life farm - the game draws you in with it's cutesy looks, but after a while the horrid realisation sets in that this game is painful to play if you actually plan on making any progress: making animals visit, live and mate in your garden demands a ridiculously varied and...
Pros: Colourful visuals, gameplay is fun for a while
