Summary: I bought this game in a rush, thinking it was the original of the series [just Viva Pinata]. I wouldn't have minded the mix-up when I received it, but this game was truly not enjoyable! It's like Mario Party minus the fun. Just mini-game after mini-game, some races in between, and no overarching presence to give you a reason to play or play well.
Summary: The first thing to note about this game is that the camera angles and controls are awful. I didn't try playing it with other people because I am lame and have no friends, but playing alone was rediculous and boring. If you are a solo gamer who is a fan of regular Viva Pinata games I still dont reccommend this. If you have a Wii get a Mario Party game if you want to play something with friends or your kids. If you need a party game for your XBOX 360 get Rockband instead.
Summary: Viva Pinata, is a BLAST, However Viva Pinata Party Animals is Dull and lifeless. Check out Online Gaming Mags review of the game. The original Viva scored 8 out of 10, Party Animals is a 4 out of 10. I wish i would have listened and saved my money. the Kids played it for maybe 15 mins before becomming bored.
"It's just like a party game!", only without the fun.

Summary: While I am critical about this game, the concept of having the characters of the short TV series and video game franchise Viva Pinata was pretty good. However this only gets points for trying. Viva Pinata: Party Animals is possibly one of the worst party games I've ever come across, and this is from someone who loathed the (singleplayer of) Crash Bash on the Playstation 1.
