  • Conclusion: Décevant.

  • Conclusion: THE VERDICT: Viva Piñata: Party Animals isn't worth a purchase, simple as, but with four people in one room it is worth a few plays. But to be fair, that's just like saying a weekday is better with a gallon of gin inside you - we all know it's true, we just can't all be arsed with the effort. Though at least Party Animals doesn't kill your poor liver.

  • Excerpt: The rest of the game is all minigames; about 15 total with two or three different variations each. First you get to play “burp the paper boat towards the goal”, and after that is “burp to avoid the explosive paper boat”, and after that is “burp to fill balloons with noxious stomach gas and have the machine above you collect the most of your balloons.” They all have the same button mashing concept; the controls are painfully simple, sometimes literally.

  • Excerpt: Viva Pinata was a real achievement. In a pleasing return to form, Rare served up the perfect balance between an accessible, relaxing experience for the casual gamer and a deceptively deep gameplay mechanic for those who play a little more. Turning your small stretch of garden into an Eden-like paradise was a fantastic and innovative experience.

  • Excerpt: The game starts off with a race and then you go into the mini-games between the races. The mini-games mostly revolve around the characters getting the most candy, but there are some that have nothing to do with candy like the one where you drink and burp a sailboat across the water. In most of the mini-games you should win quite handily, but there are also some where you are at a big disadvantage until you figure out the nuances.
  • Pros: It is a game that can be played by the family, The graphics are top-notch, which is not surprising since it shares a lot with the original
  • Cons: Krome attempts to borrow from, Choosing the long length of game is a very bad idea, Gives the original
