Stick ‘Em Up 2: Paper Adventures (Xbox360)

EL33TONLINE
25 July 2011
  • Excerpt: I grew up in the modern age of gaming so I’ve experienced the development and transition of games from monochromatic simple platformers to optical explosions of realistic renderings in an interactive environment, and yet I still find myself on occasion harking back to the days of old when games were simpler and just plain nonsensical fun. Stick ‘Em Up 2: Paper Adventures to me was a breath of fresh air in the oft overcomplicated environment of commercial gaming.

  • Excerpt: People – we’re a funny old bunch. Pay us to do something we previously enjoyed and we’ll convince ourselves that we don’t enjoy it as much as we used to. Present us with something in the form of a challenge however, and we’ll jump at the chance to do things we would never voluntarily have considered.

Disney Pixar's UP

True achievements
16 January 2010
  • Conclusion: The story in 'Up' loosely follows the movie with Carl and Russell making their ballon lifted odyssey to Paradise Falls; I played the game without seeing the movie, and it was difficult to follow the plot at times, so some knowledge of the movie is assumed. The game features appropriate challenge for younger players, and the co-op based gameplay encourages parents and children to play together - something more games should do.

Up review (X360)

HonestGamers
11 June 2009
  • Excerpt: Fortunately, cooperative play alleviates some of that. Two people can pick up controllers and it's easy to join or leave a game with the press of a button. That allows a parent or elder sibling to save the day if kids are becoming too frustrated. It's a great way for a parent to connect with his or her game-loving offspring without having to spend forever figuring out how things work.

UP

gamereality.org
18 December 2013

Disney-Pixar Up

gamesector.dk
21 May 2010

  • Pros: Charaktere gut getroffen, Flugsequenzen nett inszeniert
  • Cons: Unausgegorener Schwierigkeitsgrad, Kaum Motivation zum Weiterspielen

Oben - Review

Gamezapp
29 November 2009
