Too glitchy to work UPDATE: better UPDATE 2: Sick of it

Summary: As a beginner to this type of exercise I can say that I really felt the routines were very good and challenging. I could instantly feel some tightness in my mid-section and additional strength in my legs. However, this game has serious issues in that sometimes it doesn't recognize your moves correctly or gets stuck in a loop. My routine had 12 segments. On the 7th segment it got stuck in some loop and wouldn't stop asking me to do the same exercise.
Summary: The game also freezes at times or gets interupted by it's inability to connect to the UFCPT servers, which seem to go down a few times a week. It continuously fails to recognize certain movements.' It fails to award all achievements and avatar awards. Customer service is a COMPLETE JOKE!!! Their "fix" for everything is to uninstall and start all over again. This is of course when they actually respond.
Pros: The interactivity with a workout is a great concept but.....
Cons: ... it's beaten by inoperability in this game. I only had 3 days left of my 30 day cut weight program. So tonight, I looked at the calendar and it showed I would be doing 32 exercises tonight so before I started, I did some side by side challenges with my wife for the first time. We did silver speed bag and silver tire flips. when done, she walked off and it said it could not see her. So, I got her to come back into the room, be recognized then I went back to main men...
Summary: Garbage, doesn't work. I got past the annoying freeze issues, but this just doesn't register well with the Kinect which is REALLY frustrating. It misses a lot of stuff. The Kinect clearly just doesn't do well with sit ups and push ups. It also doesn't help that you have to use your controller all the time, which is a pain, and every other Kinect game figured out how to use hand motions as a controller. This one is not ready for release.
Summary: I specifically waited until after the Xbox Live problem that had plagued early reviewers was resolved before I bought this product. Unfortunately, that was only one of a host of issues. I've tried to use it three times now, and had to quit twice because of software hangs. I'm returning it today. This is very disappointing, because there could be a lot of good with this game. The exercises are definitely challenging, and the activities look fun.
Summary: I've been waiting for the release of UFC Trainer for a couple months. I've been using Your Shape for about 7 months and, other than a few minor tracking annoyances, have been very happy with it. My goal with this game was to progress to a more intense workout from the kickboxing that was in Your Shape. I decided to wait a week to see what the reviews were looking like and once the freeze issue was fixed I decided to order it. I really wish I wouldn't have.
Summary: About 3/4 of the way through the first day of the exercise program the loading screen said it would be a good time to get a drink, so I went to get one, when I returned the console tried to recognize me and the game froze entirely. I waited about 5 minutes to see if it would come out of it, but I had to manually restart the console. When I got back into the game all of the progress was lost; this was extremely frustrating.
Summary: I borrowed this to test it, but it really is god awful. As stated, the voice acting is extremely repetitive, and the graphics are alright considering its a trainer game. It will get the job done, but not for a good price, or a good experience.
Summary: This is a great idea and when they manage to make the software work and not hang every 30 seconds I'll be happy to buy that version. As it is the only thing it does is frustrate me which is kind of the opposite of a fitness programme in the first place.
Summary: I also really wanted to love this game but I just cant help but compare it to real life. Join a martial arts/fitness club and get real. One word of advice, dont do power punches and kicks into thin air, it will ruin your joints later in life, with early arthritis. When you punch/kick into thin air think speed no power. A lot of simulated bag work again cant compare to real life kick bag. Buy one, you can get hanging ones, free standing ones etc.
