Summary: As a beginner to this type of exercise I can say that I really felt the routines were very good and challenging. I could instantly feel some tightness in my mid-section and additional strength in my legs.
Summary: The game also freezes at times or gets interupted by it's inability to connect to the UFCPT servers, which seem to go down a few times a week. It continuously fails to recognize certain movements.' It fails to award all achievements and avatar awards. Customer service is a COMPLETE JOKE!!!
Pros: The interactivity with a workout is a great concept but.....
Cons: ... it's beaten by inoperability in this game. I only had 3 days left of my 30 day cut weight program. So tonight, I looked at the calendar and it showed I would be doing 32 exercises tonight so before I started, I did some side by side challenges with my wife for the first time. We did silver sp...
Summary: Garbage, doesn't work. I got past the annoying freeze issues, but this just doesn't register well with the Kinect which is REALLY frustrating. It misses a lot of stuff. The Kinect clearly just doesn't do well with sit ups and push ups.
Summary: I specifically waited until after the Xbox Live problem that had plagued early reviewers was resolved before I bought this product. Unfortunately, that was only one of a host of issues. I've tried to use it three times now, and had to quit twice because of software hangs. I'm returning it today.
Summary: I've been waiting for the release of UFC Trainer for a couple months. I've been using Your Shape for about 7 months and, other than a few minor tracking annoyances, have been very happy with it.
Summary: About 3/4 of the way through the first day of the exercise program the loading screen said it would be a good time to get a drink, so I went to get one, when I returned the console tried to recognize me and the game froze entirely.
Summary: I borrowed this to test it, but it really is god awful. As stated, the voice acting is extremely repetitive, and the graphics are alright considering its a trainer game. It will get the job done, but not for a good price, or a good experience.
Summary: I should probably state that UFC Personal Trainer is one of the better games on the Kinect, but that in itself doesn't mean much. As a fitness game it delivers in some respects and for the most part the Kinect holds it's own, but ultimately the experience falls on its face, with terrible body...
Summary: This is a great idea and when they manage to make the software work and not hang every 30 seconds I'll be happy to buy that version. As it is the only thing it does is frustrate me which is kind of the opposite of a fitness programme in the first place.
