UFC 2009 Undisputed is a great game in many respects, with the most entertaining aspect of the game being its intuitive, deep fighting system. And considering the fact that it's a new franchise from THQ and developer Yuke’s Media Creations, which had previously focused on making wrestling games, Undisputed's quality is even a bit of a surprise. Fight Night Round 3 Not entirely. Fight Night handles the boxing controls extremely well, yet doesn’t allow for kicks to the face or tackling your opponent. So if you want more of a fight, we’d say go for UFC. If you want something that appears a little less like men writhing around on the ground, hit up Fight Night. UFC: Sudden Impact Oh god, yes. Sudden Impact blew. Read more
Let’s dissect one commonly used but often abused word: “really”. Now, any serious book on proper writing would demand the fine-tuned obliteration of adverbs and phrases that are generally used to add emphasis and tolerability but actually show weakness – “very”, “quite”, “frequently”, “sort of”, “kind of”, “really”. In fact, the state of video game journalism is apparently so inane and unprofessional that Stephen Totilo at the Game Critics... Read more

In the end UFC is definitely a worthy investment for those that have the patience, and time, to learn how to play the game as it’s intended to be played. If you’re a more casual fighting fan who isn’t prepared to spend numerous hours just learning how to fight then this isn’t the game for you. For those of you who buckle down and devote the time necessary to really enjoy this game you will find one of the deepest, and most true to life, fighting experiences on a... Read more
The game is a great fighting simulation but not worth the 60$ price tag. Unless your a fan of the UFC already you will not find that much to explore. It can grow on you but I cant bring my self to play the career it just to clunky and feel awkward. The Exhibition mode on the other hand is fun mabey even great and classic fights are fun and give some objectives. For just getting baisicly the octagon to fight in it feels like the same experience every time. I feel like I... Read more
Don't waste your time or money on this piece of crap. Rent it at your local video store and you'll be ready to give it back halfway through the rental period. The on-line aspect is such BS I want to find the morons from THQ who put it together along with Dana White and kick them all in the balls. THe Graphics are good, the fighting is fun at first. But the computer is so annoying. No tourny or open weight modes. No com vs. com, no entrances, NOTHING. The create a fighter... Read more or see product

I owned one of the old UFC games for PS2 and my gosh it was awful! This one is done perfectly! And the graphics are freaking awesome. This game also keeps me involved and keeps me from getting bored. I've jumped out of my seat plenty of times when I'm winning a fight but suddenly get caught up in a submission attempt. The only problem I had was that the career mode is kind of boring, just in the fact that it's pretty much just fighting. Also, I hope they add the... Read more
