Simple but fun.

Summary: This game is based on Gen 1 Transformers, so the stuff from the cartoons, basically. So, no Michael Bay Bots here. Game has a nice variety of weapons and pickups. The checkpoint system can be a little dull though, as it has a tendency to respawn you into immediately lethal situations. All in all, I would recommend to gamers looking for cheap fun and to Transformers fans.
Summary: I've never liked Transformers, I in fact, hated them. I was browsing the Xbox LIVE demos section and found this. It had quite a lot of downloads, so I decided to try it out. BAM, one of the best things my eyes have seen. The multiplayer was fun and competitive, and I was glad to see that you could choose your own weapons instead of having a preset loadout. The demo was so fun that I bought the game.
Summary: In this game you not only take on the role of the heroic autobots but find out how the war began and how the decepcticons came to be. This game is divided into to two campiagn autobots and decepticons. With you taking on the role of the bad guys first this is were this game differs from all other transformers game.
Summary: I am a transformers fan, and having said that I was expecting a lot from this game. A few hours flew by after putting the game in for the first time, and I thought to myself, this game has ALOT of action! its pretty much non stop throughout, and feels like you are playing an action packed transformers cartoon. This is where it all begins as far as decepticons vs autobots, and high moon were given full rights to develop the story.
Summary: I bought this for my younger son to cheer him up after he broke an arm then smashed his head off the radiator and chipped his front tooth. He liked this game and has worked his way through the levels with no negative comments on it's content. Seems to be a good buy.
Excerpt: Interesting graphics - everything looks suitably metallic and alien but after a while it all tends to look the same. The combat is ok and the ability to fly/drive when you like is nice. I didn't try it co-op, where it's probably a lot more fun. Still a decent rental though.
Excerpt: I really enjoyed this game, it has the feel of the original cartoon while also looking new & fresh. The campaign was enjoyable (finished in about 10 hours) might seem a little short. Story is a little weak, but the action keeps you playing. Online is also fun standard game modes you would find in most shooters (death match, capture the flag etc). All in all I would recomend this game.
