Conclusion: Now this is a game you can flip a coin for. This game has fans pumped and most people bumped. while i wasn't a huge transformers fan previous to this game, this game is awsome! The game play is cool featuring all of our favourite autobots and decepticons including optimus prime, and megatron. also some new faces such as bumblebee, the protaginist in the movie.
Conclusion: This game is not going to be the best game you play, but it's not a bad game by any means. However, most G1 Transformers fans will probably love it simply because you can unlock the G1 Megatron and Optimus Prime to play as during the game. After playing with G1 Megatron, I feel that alone was worth the $60 for the game. Gameplay is repetitious but fun. Some parts can be frustrating, but equally as rewarding when they are finally accomplished. The graphics are very good.
Summary: The levels are all quite similar and get a bit tedious but playing as a giant robot rampaging over skyscrapers then turning into a car to jet down the freeway is endless fun. It makes for a very fresh gaming experience. ...
Transformers: The Game (Xbox 360): Another typical movie-to-accompany-game game?
14 September 2009
Summary: How many movie-accompanying games can you name that actually are good? There arent many. King Kong? Quantum of Solace? Pirates of the Carribean? Well, you might just have to add Transformers to that list. From publisher Activision, gamers come to expect nothing less. As they have broke records and published excellent games over the past 2 Years in particular, nobody expected this game to be good, or to live up to the hype of the film.
Pros: Gameplay and controls is 90% good, the story of the film fits the games graphics, 3rd person view.
Transformers: The Game (Xbox 360): More Than Meets The Eye
24 July 2009
Summary: ahh, Transformers, they've entertained us for years! Literally. Unfortunately for the Autobots and even the Decepticons, video games aren't quite up their ally. Now, I'm not saying it's a bad game, cos as a fan from way back, the fact that you get to play most of the Autobots, or even the Decepticons so cool.
Pros: coooool transforming, good gamer point hunting
Summary: this game is basically a money maker for the people who made the transformers film, the storyline (kind of very loosely) plays along side the film, where you choose your side at the start of the game and you play a familiar face from the movie on every level. there is a wide number of characters available from blackout the helicopter, bumblebee the corvette optimun prime the leader of the autobots and megatron the leader of the evil decepticons.
Transformers: The Game (Xbox 360): TRUE TO THE MOVIE!
15 May 2009
Summary: The Transformers movie was absoulutely amazing so I expected the game to be the same and I was not far wrong. Unlike typical movie games that are usually quite poor this one defintely represented the film accurately. In the game you get to take the role of a number of different transformers and there are two campaigns; autobots campaign and the decepticons campaign.
Conclusion: It is true this game by no means with blow your socks off as yes it doesn't have the best graphics, game play etc... but I think with this game its pretty simple if you like Transformers, and thought that the new and the 1980's films where good then you are going to like this game if you don't then why would you buy this game anyway??!
