Summary: My husband and son love the movie so I thought I'd buy them the game. It's much harder than I thought it would be. I myself have never played it (they hog the xbox 360 all the time) but my husband said it's too hard for even him to play. He's read the directions but still can't play it well. For us it doesn't meet our expectations but it might meet or even exceed the next persons.
Summary: The movie is a 5 stars hands down with two thumbs up... no question bout it. The game has potential it's true, cool graphics, but the cut scenes look like made to get over with fast and even silly comparing the sequence and concept to the movie... and the missions, very repetitive and annoying sometimes... Big trans fan trust me.. but they could've made it perfect instead of almost.
Summary: This game is okay. That pretty much sums it up. It's definitely not more than meets the eye. Sure, it has fantastic graphics, and just about everything in the environments can be picked up, blown up, or smashed, but the gameplay is VERY repetetive, and the controls are often very jumpy. The Decepticons have some of the cooler robots, but they also get a bit repetetive. It's definitely fun to play for a short while, but not over extended periods of time.

Summary: Transformers The Game might seem like a perfect fusion of action-movie sci-fi fun with a Grand Theft Auto free-roam map style. Unfortunately, the game really needed a few more months in development before it could be called finished. First, the good. The transformation sequences are really cool, as you leap from being a large fighting robot and land as a fast sports car.
Summary: First I will give the pros and cons of this game. Pros: - Charactor design is very good. Looks like characters from the movie. - Interaction with the envirnment. Being able to pick up and throw objects and the distruction of an urban city makes it feel like you are in a true transformers world. - The voice overs are decent and not over done or cheesy. Real voices from the film is always a plus. - Range of playable characters is a big plus too.
Traveller's Tales must be stopped, no matter the cost.

Summary: Authors note: My three star review was based on first impression, after completing a large portion of the game I would like to be able to change my review to two stars, but their system will not allow it. When I saw the first released footage of this game my jaw dropped. The visuals looked incredible; ultimately the final product lived up to that hype in the graphics department, but fell short everywhere else.
Summary: This game is no Halo but if your a transformers fan or a fan of these games I would play it, some of the action sequences are pretty challenging and fun and the graphics are gorgeous. Good sound and CGI animation as well.
Excerpt: Almost all movie-to-video-games translations are not worth the cost of entry. Once in a blue moon there is a game that gets released that is just as good as the movie. Unfortunately Transformers is not one of those games. Even though this game has a good foundation, it is ruined by poor presentation, weird control scheme, and lack of mission variety.
Excerpt: This game was a tie in to the massive 2007 hit of the same name staring Shia La Beouf, and a multi platform experience on all major consoles and PC. About the Game : With this game you get the choice of playing for the good side (autobots) or the bad side (decepticons) throughout the game. Whichever side you choose gives you your own story line.
