Amazing Game but not worth the Price

Jake Zurynski, Amazon
1 August 2006
  • Summary: Amazing Game but not worth the Price.... the reason the price is so large is because of the online features...the graphics are "slightly different" all gameplay still the same but in general Amazing Game! Best Tony Hawk 2nd THPS4

Just not up to XBox 360 standards

Lisa Shea, Amazon
31 July 2006
  • Summary: Tony Hawk's skateboarding games are by now a classic style of gameplay. The XBox 360 should have kicked up the graphics to a new level. It didn't quite make it. The game really annoyed me right from the start. You're a country yokel heading off to the bright lights and big city of Los Angeles.

WAY too unrealistic. I miss the old games..

Daniel Crawford, Amazon
31 July 2006
  • Summary: I have been playing the Tony Hawk games since THPS 1 and loved it all the way up to THUG... But after the release of THUG they're just going downhill. I rented THUG 2 for the xbox and i felt like i was a clown with all the crazy, impossible stunts i was doing.

User Review

JaceN., Metacritic
7 December 2005
  • Summary: Urgh!...this happens with every new system. Desperate for "something...anything...to do with it once you get it home" developers get super lazy. You cant just recycle the last remnants of the last generation as base lauch titles for the next generation!

A good skateboarding game.

illage2, Amazon
4 August 2006
  • Summary: This is probably my all time favorite Skateboarding game. Graphics are not the best but I just love the adrenaline rush you get from playing this game. No loading screens for a game this old is impressive, and its a shame that most other games don't follow suit.

Wasteland? Time Wasted more like.

Smeep, Ciao
4 July 2006
  • Excerpt: Tony Hawk. The name that lends it's self to one of the greatest game series there ever was. Especially when they introduced the Manual. (Kind of like a wheelie, but on a skateboard) So when I found out there was a 7th Tony Hawk, I was ecstatic.
  • Pros: Usual tony hawk gameplay .
  • Cons: Worst tony hawk game there is .  Same game cheaper on 360 .
