Summary: I went back through the original 360 games to see which ones were worth still playing. This game isn't all that bad but lacks in quite a few areas. The story tutorial doesn't guide you through the moves very well. You will be facing challenges needed to level up without any guidance on how to complete them. The characters are very hokey and the dialogue is pretty stiff. The animations are worse as when they talk you can see clear down their throats.
Summary: What a travesty! It had a classic mode that was reminiscent of the old Tony Hawk games we have come to know and love. That was about the only thing I liked about it. The story was terrible. The customizations was terrible. The slow-down effect is too easy to accidentally initiate. The off-the-board running system was horrible (you flip around like Crash Bandicoot and cannot grab on to a lot of ledges). On top of all of that, the sound on my disc would frequently cut out.
Summary: Don't get me wrong, I love the Tony Hawk series. But this one just seemed to fall short. I've honestly only played it for 20-30 minutes but in that short of time, I really wasn't impressed. The graphics are below average and it seems sluggish trying to get around and find places. Let me emphasize, the graphics are VERY below average. I was thinking, "come on, this is on an xbox 360! it looks like they used a playstation 1 graphics engine.
Summary: I got this game because my girlfriend wanted to play it...It continually locked up, and many glitches such as getting stuck in a wall and not being able to remove your skater. Really the game is not as fun as they used to be. Not to mention I thought the park editor would have advanced considerablly on the 360 but it has not...
Summary: The game is fun, i loved it but there are many problems. One the game is f**king short, I beat it in like less then a week. There is more stuff to do after it but still..Also when you go up to people it will say "Yo Skater" on the bottem when really he says "Hey Skaterat" and a lot of the subtitles on the bottem are wrong and off. Also at time you will go up to a person and all there will be is the subtitles they dont say anything.
Excerpt: This first release of the Tony Hawk's series by Activision on a next-generation console was quite disappointing. The graphics could've been far better than the finished product had produced, as they were quite pixelated and glitchy. The gameplay at times felt wrong, and could also have been improved by introducing a new gameplay system for the game.
