a little short on content, but fun while it lasts

Gabriel, Amazon
26 July 2013
  • Summary: It's fun to explore and climb all over the place. Combat consists of gun fights with mercenaries and surprise attacks from jungle cats. Oh, and beware of QTE. Graphics aren't as good as the cover art, but it's still not bad. There are only 8 levels, but each has multiple hidden statuettes to collect and higher difficulties including a time trial. Those unlock bonus content like concept art and costumes.

  • Summary: I like it, the game came to me very quickly after ordering. There are very minor scratches but the game works great. I would recommend this game for anyone who is a fan of Tomb Raider and/or loves games that make you use your head.

The reboot that saved Lara

Richard Baker "BinaryMessiah", Amazon
28 March 2012
  • Summary: The Good: Revives the series from its tomb, great graphics, audio, and a decent story, everything that was broke is now fixed The Bad: Camera is retarded in cramped places, driving sections are punishing, city levels are odd, typical combat, story held together by threads, shorter than Lara's shorts Ahhh...here we are again with the cunning, brave, smart, posh, sexy, and beautiful Lara Croft.

Laras return to respectability

natonjob , GameStop
22 January 2012
  • Summary: Ever since Tomb raider 2, Lara had been going downhill. This game brought her back from being on life support. The game is by no means a masterpiece but it does bring Video games sexiest character back to respectability. The Graphics for its time were nothing special but they get the job done. The gameplay is actual more fun than old games where Lara was like controlling a tank. Lara's new control/gameplay scheme is more like Prince of Persia. Thats good.

Good game but needs improvements

SFmania, Amazon
7 August 2011
  • Summary: Now the platforming is good, the puzzles are good, the action not so much. Gun battles are not well made & that ruins the experience for me. Legend unlike most TR games has the most action sadly. I'd prefer if they left it out.

Really very good and fun.

justsomeguy, Amazon

  • Summary: I actually played this one after I played the "Underworld" version, which is newer. But this title is great! Graphics, sound, story - it's all there. Lara's control is better than ever before - and although it's missing the few tweaks found in "Underworld", it's still really great. The levels are fun - yes it's a bit quick to play through for us huge fans, but still it's great fun. - My only negative: I'm stuck.
