Summary: This game is truly worthy of 'Game of the Year.' An in depth story, exiting combat, brain teasing puzzles, and tombs to be raided make this game 100% worth getting. Even though I was a little skeptical at the new Laura Croft, I still tried it and am happy I did. An island full of demons and savage, weapons to upgrade, animals to hunt, and much more await you.
Summary: Here's the thing, I played this game for 4-5 hours a day for a week, and completed it at 97%. If your not going for 100%, the game doesn't last too long. That being said, the graphics were excellent on my 360, controls were fairly easy to master, and the story line was gripping. Highly recommend this game!
Summary: Similar to the past games featuring Lara Croft. I haven't gotten through a whole lot yet, but it does have that original exploration element, plus much improved graphics and sound. This one probably is going to take a while before I get through a major portion of the game. I think it is worth the $30, they are charging here.
Summary: After viewing lots of footage online I had an idea that this was going to be a really fun game to play and I was right. Everything about this game was outstanding and I don't use that word often. The graphics were amazing (Xbox One quality, IMO), the story was well done, voice acting was outstanding (Camilla Luddington as Lara was wonderful.
Summary: I'm a year late but thanks to PS+ I managed to play and beat this supposed gem...and I am disappointed. Tomb Raider is a good game for sure with a pretty decent campaign that does a good job of getting rid of the eye candy association with the games and makes Lara more vulnerable (for some overly-so). The gameplay isn't really all that bad, but thanks to games like Assassin's Creed, Infamous, Arkham, and especially Uncharted, it just can't stack up.
Summary: I'm a HUGE fan of this game. I love it! I mean I really don't know what more needs to be said. This was my first experience with a downloadable game and the process was not complicated. I must say it did take a little while to download though.
Summary: I expected this game not to disappoint, and it didn't. But I expected a bit more action from the game. Story-Line: I thought it was interesting. I really liked the way that bits and pieces of the story is dropped as you progress through the game and you don't come to a full realization of what happens until the end. Just think of the Blood Countess...watered down a bit. This is what disappointed me about the story: there should have been more to the tale.
Summary: One of the best Lara Croft games, but no quite a "Tomb Raider". Open world, lots of treasures, good story, really good gameplay and you cant just not feel sorry for all that Lara sufers. The bad side is, the puzzles are gone, no more cool or hard puzzles, and thats a bad thing, also the "tombs" you "raid" are not even 20% good as the ones of all other tomb raiders.
