Summary: I had never played any of e tomb raiders before, so I ended up buying this one and a few of the older ones on 360... The others do not even compare to this one. They have come a long way with the graphics for sure. At the beginning of the game scenes, I couldn't tell a few times what was real or fake. The game is intense like others have said, I did not like how the wolves hunt you over and over though and catch you off guard.
Excerpt: I bought this game for myself...it is a really fun game...there is some swearing in it but it has all of action in it easy to follow promps...I would recommend this game if you have ever played the old games this one has a lot better graffics. And is a lot more challenging..
Summary: I'm a year late but thanks to PS+ I managed to play and beat this supposed gem...and I am disappointed. Tomb Raider is a good game for sure with a pretty decent campaign that does a good job of getting rid of the eye candy association with the games and makes Lara more vulnerable (for some overly-so). The gameplay isn't really all that bad, but thanks to games like Assassin's Creed, Infamous, Arkham, and especially Uncharted, it just can't stack up.
Summary: Just got this item for the collectors tin. Big fan of tomb raider and just had to have it. Wish it came in the gamestop collectors edition. I loved the tin even though it can easily be dented. It doesn't comepare to others if u only care about what u like. Something else can be totally better but if it wasn't tomb raider then I don't care.
Summary: Tomb Raider was a blast to play, although I doubt I will replay it after seeing the whole story. The story itself is great and feels like playing an epic movie. I was surprised how much fun I had platforming in the game. The problem solving wasn't very hard and the fighting areas weren't very difficult either. I played on hard and only died a handful of times. Weapon customization is okay and character customization is minimal.
