Not as good as the first

Summary: The game was ok in its heyday, but not as good as the original. The story wasn't bad and the mechanics were alright, but there could be some improvements here and there. The multiplayer was also alright for its time but back then, cod was superior. Well let me rephrase, rainbow six on the original xbox was what helped keep the xbox from failing as a console (and halo ce), but when it came to the 360, cod won.
Summary: I had really enjoyed the first one so I thought I would like the 2 even better but that was almost the same stuff... moreover it was a "cold" rendering of the people and the scenery... I found it boring at times as well.... well I guess Vegas 1 was new and it was much harder to create something very different with Vegas 2.
Summary: R6V2 (and the previous Rainbow Six Vegas) continue to bring me back for replay while the COD and WaW series often their appeal quickly, sometimes before I've gotten to the end. Here's why: ~The narrative enhances game play. Doesn't get in the way. Doesn't give you the impression the designer thought they were making an interactive movie. Doesn't (mostly) embarrass you with terrible dialog and wooden voice acting. More recent games tend to do all of these things.
