Not quite as good as the originals, but the story does have you pretty interested

Summary: While the actual abilities, tools, and so forth are not quite as good as Pandora Tomorrow or similar Splinter Cell games, I do like the story in this one, and being given the freedom to choose from a plethora of mini-missions makes it a bit of a challenge.
Summary: Let me get this straight right now. DO NOT LISTEN TO THOSE PEOPLE WHO KEEP SAYING THAT "THIS ISN'T A SPLANTER CIEL GAIM THERZ NO STELTH" BECAUSE THEY ARE WRONG. I just finished the first mission of this game and it is really really enjoyable. The maps are fairly big to go around and explore through.
Summary: Let me admit to Splinter Cell being my favorite franchise , period. Being fair, Let me say that this game is easily the second worse of the original four. that doesn't mean it's bad though. The game looked good for it's time.
Summary: game is pretty amazing. takes a lot of strategy to complete the game perfectly on the hardest difficulty. gives you the perspective of choice and critical decision making about the long term effects of the game.
Summary: I have enjoyed this game in two incarnations. PS2 version (and all other co-generational consoles; ie. xbox, gamecube) had a deeper more cohesive story/ending, while current gen. version (namely xbox 360 and wii...maybe PS3) has more immersive gameplay.
Summary: If you like splintercells 1 through choas theory than you will probably like this game. This game is great but it's very challenging. I recommend that you beat it on the normal setting before trying to beat it on the hard setting. Overall The game was fun but the multiplayer is a joke.
Summary: So far i love this game. I am a little late in getting it but i am working my way back into the series. Its not much different then the other splinter cell games except for the graphics and that's why i enjoy playing.
Summary: *spoiler alert?* So... you finished the game? Think again. Great final level that is EXTREMELY hard since there isn't many places for Sam to hide. I'm not going to give away the details but let's just say that the level is hard and fun.
Pros: Great graphics. This game has some slick new moves that makes SOCOM Navy Seals look like a buncha Cub Scouts. You can litterally drag guys under an ice flow and take them out without much alert status if timed right. Just like the SC games before it you can shimmy pipes but now you can take out s...
Cons: As others have stated this game can be a bit of a pain in the backside. There is a level where you have to stop a captain from blowing up a ship. It took MANY MANY MANY tries to get him because like a lot of games this one has an AI that can see through walls it seems. Which is counter to what Sa...
