stupid controls

Andrew Fernandes, Amazon
12 April 2014
  • Summary: The controls were dumb. Nothing like the latest splinter cells. But this was the first splinter cell on xbox 360. But overall, it was the controls that i hated. If you've played any of the newer SC games, you will hate this version.

Double Agent choices are slim...

Mollen, Amazon
24 September 2010
  • Summary: Another great Sam Fisher game from Tom Clancy. These games always remind me of when Clancy was writing good books with Jack Ryan and my favorite character, John Clark. Pretty good storyline that takes you all over the world in different venues and environments from a cruise ship to the frozen Siberian coast. Played through the game on normal through the toughest level with minimal use of help files from online sources.

great game but very bad online play

  • Summary: I loved this game and I would totally recomend this to any fan of the series or genre. great single player campaign and a much gritter storyline is a major plus especially for the splinter cell vets like myself. online on the other hand is where the game falls short to me to many bugs/glitches is a big letdown. otherwise totally recomend this game to any fan of the stealth action genre or fan of the series.

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Double Agent Reader Review - 9.3

aminghane, IGN Entertainment
2 January 2008
  • Conclusion: Double Agent is fantastic title that changes several things from the old Splinter Cell games; some for better, some for worse. One of the things that actually bothered me throughout the game game was the lack of closed-corridor-dark-office building type levels. Another thing that has changed is the unlockable gear, which I didn't mind.

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Double Agent Reader Review - 6.5

Hellhog, IGN Entertainment
5 September 2007
  • Conclusion: The game is fun and addicting but dissapointing that it left the original principal of the Splinter Cell series: Light & Shadow. My rating is based on it being part of the Splinter Cell series. If I was rating this game as not being a Splinter Cell series game then overall I give it a 9.5, otherwise it is a 6.5 rating as a Splinter Cell game. I find Splinter Cell 1 to be more fun as a stealth action. If you want a fun multiplayer then this game is fun to play.

The game that saved Michael Ironside's career?

ChomskyKnows "ChomskyKnows", Amazon
2 March 2007
  • Summary: PROS: - Unreal Engine - No forced grab cover as with many new games. - SAVE ANYWHERE! - Excellent main character voice acting, especially Michael Ironside. It really helps. - Excellent music. This really helps too. - Complicated story with interesting morality. I never understood irrational "ends-justify-the-means" ethics, which this game obviously employs, but it's certainly realistic to our ultra-nationalistic, ultra-militaristic government, so using it as a plot...

Double Agent LE, get it!

Robert Robinson "Sigint Ninja", Amazon
3 November 2006
  • Summary: This fourth installment in the Splinter Cell series of games takes a radical change in direction from the previous three games. In the game you are Sam Fisher, an NSA operative who is given the task of infiltrating the JBA, or John Brown's Army, a terrorist organization. Double Agent for the Xbox 360 uses a branching storyline that allows the gamer to make choices that ultimately affect the final outcome of the game.
