It is just like Hawx..if you ripped out its soul and set it adrift on a raft in the open ocean.

Summary: I could not be more dissappointed in this game. I love HAWX, the missions and the controls and everything about it were perfect. Hawx2 is like a bag of *&)holes left in the sun. Aside from changing and ruining the controls and game feel they ask you to fly a plane through a tunnel and blow up a nuke, then fly out the other side.
Summary: Where to begin? I will say that I would much rather contract a case of ebola than ever waste my time playing this sorry excuse of a tom clancy game. Its so glitchy and does not allow you to finish the game, in addition the enemy AI is unreal, they cheap shot you and they posses an unlimited amount of everything, compared to your squad mates who do jack squat. I would be much happier playing anything but this ever again.
Summary: At first I enjoyed the game the flying was realistic for a video game and the graphics are nice to look at. Then all of the sudden you are in a dog fight where there is you, four allies, and thirty enemies. Real life you and allies are DEAD, in HAWK 2 you kill everyone and are heros. Eventually even your allies stop helping you so you kill everyone by yourself. Nothing in this game is REAL except the graphics. Yes the planes LOOK great the terrain LOOKS great.
Summary: I am not a flight sim nut. I wasn't looking for the ultimate in realistic flight controls. I just wanted to be able to fly some cool jets and shoot down enemies. Apparently, the creators of HAWX 2 never got the memo that was released after the old NES Top Gun game: DO NOT MAKE YOUR PLAYERS LAND ON AN AIRCRAFT CARRIER! For some people, this might be fun. For casual gamers, it's just repeated death. At least give the casual gamers the choice to skip the landings.
Summary: Before I start I'll let you know I've played most of the ace combat games and I've played the original hawx. I bought this game not knowing what to expect...yet it still disappointed me. There is a huge list of things that are wrong with this game. The cut scenes are horribly animated, some of the shadows are see through and you can see the daylight through them, ai flight patterns are ridiculous to say the least, not being able to select different planes for different...
Conclusion: I was very impressed with the first Hawx game and when I had completed it, went straight online to purchase the sequel. Unfortunately I was very disappointed...the first thing that struck me was the manoeuvrability of the planes which feels awkward and clumsy compared to the first. Also regardless of how close to the ground you are flying it barely feels as though you are moving at all.
Conclusion: This is the worst game I've purchased in a long, long time as it is truly awful and not worth 35p let alone 35quid. The story line is boring and un involving, the graphics are equally rubbish, and the flight model is utterly dreadful as it feels like your in a submarine and not in a modern fighter aircraft.
