Authentic golf isn't doesnt equal a fun video game.

Summary: I bought this game about 2 months ago since I have not owned a Tiger Woods game since 2007 and I wanted a more realistic golf game to go along with Hot Shots Golf. After owning it for this long I wish I would've used my $60 on some other games. PROS: - Course graphics are improved - New added power system allows you to ask for more power instead of tapping a button to power up - Offline Multiplayer is still fun - Large number of courses - Enjoy playing from late 1800s to...
Summary: Takes forever to start up, randomly will have a quick freeze in the middle of gameplay. The Kinect controls are not all that great very touchy and difficult to use. Occasionally refuses to respond to your commands to the point of having to restart the game. When the game is working properly it is a lot of fun, while using the controller.
Summary: Have had to restart the game many many times. Constantly freezing up. Not the Xbox as I play many other games. Glitches galore in this game. Another poor display by EA. Also, hitting a leaf will cause your ball to fall like you hit the mesh curtain at a range. I am not a great golfer in real life so I find myself in the trees often, leaves do nothing to my ball.
Summary: I've had this game (the "historic" edition) for about three weeks, and my most recent version was TW 12 for Wii. There are plenty of good features about this game, and the graphics are far superior to the Wii (of course), but there are some gameplay issues that really keep this from being a "great" game. 1. As others have mentioned, you must still fork over money to purchase every available course. This is actually the least of my worries.
Summary: I'm 55yr & have been playing golf sims since the late 80s. I have not played TW since the 09 or 10, can't remember. Gone are the fantasy courses (unless you want to pay extra) gone are the 15 or so regular courses (again, unless you want to pay) gone is the course creator, .....on and on. On the tee box you can't zoom to see the rolls on the green.. really?! Difficulty is good, but it's still to easy coming out of deep rough, I have played a lot of real life golf.
