Summary: I played this game for two weeks before selling it. If you love golf and its the game you play the most then I can understand purchasing this game, outside of that, its a waste of money. - graphics are marginally better then Tiger Woods '10 - does head-to-head online play with a friend really require the code contained with the new game?
Summary: love the game but the game doesnt load so we never got to use it. just got a blank screen. have ordered games from you in the past and never had trouble. You usually have the best priced games out there. it was a big disappointment to get this one and it didn't work.. I wanted to return it but usually games once opened are not returnable. so it was a money loss to us.
Summary: This begins with EA's release of Tiger Woods 14: Historic Edition. I pre-ordered in February to get the free course when the game released in late March. This game is totally broken. On line play is impossible. It freezes every other game and there are no stats or coins awarded for wins. Playing the game's Historic Mode causes it to freeze after just one or two holes. It isn't just me.
Summary: Graphics, gameplay, options, courses, everything is GREAT. Did you want to play all of the advertised courses in the game? Well TOO BAD, it's gonna cost you another $50.00 in Microsoft Points in order to BUY those courses. Pin pack refills? Those can't be obtained, you have to spend $5, $10, $20 for a whole new random pin pack that may not even help you. Basically, EA expects you to pay $100 in order to play 100% of their game. EA, are you familiar with GFYS?
The Worst Tiger Woods Game Ever! More Online Bugs Than Any Previous Tiger Woods Game
A. J. Solinas "ajsolinas", Amazon
30 April 2013
Summary: EA Sports should be ashamed for publishing a game with this many bugs. We are all still waiting for the patch to come out to fix 43 bugs. I paid over $84.00 for this crap to get it on the day it came out! I owned every Tiger Woods Game since 2006 and am one of the top players online. We never had this many issues in previous versions. I hope EA sports thinks of testing it online before publishing next time. I signed up to be a beta tester, but didn't get selected.
Summary: Pretty good playing game, but as it loads the next holes in PGA tour mode it insists on giving you meaningless statistics. For example after playing one or two holes and having made three putts it tells you your putting rank is last - mainly because no one else has teed off yet. Someone at EA must have said we have to do something while it loads, but this is a terrible idea. Horrible bugs at advanced levels. EA ignoring pleas of people who bought this lemon.
Summary: I constantly compete with my roommate in various sports games and with the kinect it feels like your actually playing the sport but inside. When Tiger Woods came out and they touted the kinect support I went straight out and purchased it. I had it for almost 4 hours before I gave up because it was beyond frustrating to use. The kinect would not read my movements for the swing, distance measuring, and aiming. Half of the times it would swing on its own.
Cons: kinect does not read accurate movements even after calibrating
Summary: The manufacturer of this game EA sports has acknowledged multiple issues with this game that effect game play. They initially put out a patch which they acknowledged caused more issues that it fixed. They promised a second patch several months ago but have done nothing since. To get a more clear picture go onto the EA sports Tiger forums and read what everyone has to say. Save your money on this one.
Pros: Good Concept, fun to play if you can get past the glitches
Cons: Total lack of support to a title with multiple issues
Summary: Advertised as a "BETTER WITH KINECT" well now I know not to trust EA because they lie. It is "possible" to take a swing with the kinect but is completely unplayable. swings on its own, selects random clubs, aiming is almost impossible and I'll re-mention it swings on its own. Really cost me $75 to find out that it doesn't really "work" with the Kinect which is very disappointing.
