have to buy courses after the first round. What a let down. Do not buy this game.

James A. Nesbitt, Amazon
16 July 2013
  • Summary: Just a game that is made to relieve you of your money. Was fun to play, but, won't pay for additional play.

Completely killed the TW franchise

bulldawgfan99, Ebay
30 April 2012
  • Summary: Not sure why but they added the caddy tip that has to be disabled on every hole and the entire gameplay has changed. As a gamer that has gotten used to controls for certain games like this I don't understand why EA Sports would change it. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

Overall I am extremely disappointed with this once great game.

joepete66, Ebay
2 September 2011
  • Summary: I am a pro at this game so the caddie just gets in my way. When i hit the B button I want it to zoom down the hole so I can set up my shot like before. Now it just zooms right to where the ball is going to land. and the putting?

A cash grab if there ever was one

ZForce915, Amazon
17 June 2011
  • Summary: If you want the full experience of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12: The Masters, be prepared to shell out far more than the $60 (or recent price drop to $45). And not just a little, literally HUNDREDS of dollars in DLC to get it all. Nah, that's ok you'll say.

dcl? really?

golffan, Amazon
17 June 2011
  • Summary: The game overall is very good, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. $50 for the game and $50 for the dlc golf courses is ridiculous. I loved this game in the past, but I do not enjoy EA screwing us by charging for the game and charging for the golf courses which are used during the career...

EA SPORTS are completely out of their minds with DLC.

Matt R. Dargis "Brian Fantana", Amazon
17 June 2011
  • Summary: Best Tiger Woods I have played in a LONG time. But, seriously, come on. How do you justify charging $50.00 dollars for DLC courses that were done when the game came out? Some courses that you NEED to own in order to play a season. Think about it that is $110.00 dollars if you want a "complete" game.

Not fun

J. Coley, Amazon
16 April 2011
  • Summary: The lack of any usable meter to gauge swing power is bad. The putting interface is worse. I guess it's nice that they finally paid Augusta enough to use the course, but that doesn't make the game any more fun.

Expensive DLC required for career mode - I'll pass!

G. Chappell, Amazon
9 April 2011
  • Summary: As noted by other reviewers, this game actually costs twice as much as you'd expect. The first $60 will go towards actually purchasing the game, and immediately when you enter career mode, you'll be reminded to pay up to purchase the additional courses throughout the season.

EA strikes again

Jon G, Amazon
4 April 2011
  • Summary: If you expect to get a full game for the $60.00 price, then you should pass on this game. EA has decided to pack this game with "micro-transactions". In past Tiger games, you would have options to purchase additional courses that were separate from the overall game.
