Excerpt: With Tiger Woods 12: The Masters upon us, has the title added enough features to justify its price tag? A lot of things can happen in a year, but perhaps one thing we didn’t expect was for good ol Tiger Woods to be caught, literally with his trousers down, in a scandal that rocked his career.
Excerpt: Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12: The Masters builds on the foundation of years past, but adds enough new features to take simulation golfing to an entirely new level. Adding to the tried and true gameplay mechanics and graphical presentations that have wowed fans for years, EA Sports was able to up their game with new voices, refined in-game graphics, but most importantly The Masters. The entire Tiger Woods PGA Tour experience feels new and refreshing.
Conclusion: golf game, as accurately portrayed as the fictional game seen in that Simpsons episode. Conclusion: Not only is this one a loving tribute to the most intense and exciting tournament in golf, but it's also the best golf game available on any home console. The only thing missing is the ability to create courses from scratch (like PC golf games had been doing for years). However, I'll be enjoying this entry until EA gets around to adding that feature later.
Conclusion: Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12 provides features that won't be for everyone but is ultimately an enjoyable experience. If you haven't experienced the Tiger Woods franchise in a while, this is a great year to come back.
