Summary: Don't get this game expecting to play online with you friends, the marketing copy is out of date. EA shut down the multiplayer servers for this game in August 2011 as part of their tactics to get people to buy the latest and greatest games. Single player and local multiplayer still works fine, just all online functionality is dead.
Summary: certainly doesn't break away from the franchise. It's a good typical Tiger golf game... bought it used for $11. so at that price I love it. Good game overall, the LIVE features are nice but joining a game with someone on your friend's list is a bit confusing.
Summary: On the positive side, graphics are a big part of any golf game, and I think they did a super job. The natural elements look realistic -- the rippling of the water, the swaying of the treetops, the spray of rain off the spinning ball -- and add to the fun of playing the game. Unfortunately, there are some major downsides to this game. The biggest downside is that you have to be a very, very, very good player to enjoy the game.
Summary: Love the Tiger Woods series... This one doesn't seem to be any better or worse then the previous years. CPU is way harder... good luck beating them when you first create a golfer! Also, I can't seem to find a way to improve my golfer without just playing regular rounds of golf (previous years you could do challenges and other games which would add skill to your golfer). Overall it seems to be an average or slightly above average game...
Summary: I have been playing, or should I say working on this game since it was released. I too have had seemingly inexplicable problems with the length of approach shots that were pretty predictable on 2009, but certainly are not on 2010. The putting is definitely a step backward as distance is largely a matter of guesswork.
As Usual, too little detail and a major flaw with the computer golfers

Summary: While this game has some fun to it, EA Sports has never been known to go out of their way to fine tune a product and give it some polish, and certainly they rarely fix anything with a patch. The computer golfers in this game are PERFECT. They NEVER miss a fairway, NEVER miss a GIR, and always 1 putt, with occasional 2 putt. Typically they shoot in the 50s, regardless of what course, what conditions. They are absolutely perfect and therefore no fun to play at all.
Summary: I LOVED Tiger Woods '09 and pretty much mastered the thing. Don't get me wrong, I want new challenges. For $60 I don't want to just slide right in and start dominating right off the bat..... But I'd prefer legit challenges versus curve balls. Has no one else noticed that the math seems to be off, especially where approach shots are concerned?
Conclusion: personally i think everyone has forgotten how good TW03 was!!!!!! i mean, everything from the putting to the gameplay to the game modes and the mechanics of the game were GREAT!!! Now you have an unreliable putting indicator and boring characters with no humor or interesting qualities; same goes for the main career mode. It's good for new comers but the best is 2003. "yo go make me loose my mind up in here... up in here!!!!" - thank you DMX aka a wicked song from TW2003.
Summary: trés bon jeu de golf!addictif, graphismes "pas mal",bonne jouabilité!durée de vie assez longue, avec la possibilité de personnaliser votre joueur a la ride prés,évolution et entrainement interressants!
