Summary: This game has tons of potential. I am having some difficulty with the transition from the PC version to the Xbox game console. I can see so much improvement in player development & realistic game play that this will take ME some time to convert. Golf fans should find this game challenging to say the least.
Summary: Tiger 06 finds an excellent blend between compelling gameplay, consistent challenge, and enough reward to always keep you engaged. What it lacks in features and courses, Tiger almost makes up for in pure challenge. So, there's a good amount of challenge to be found in Tiger 06. The load times are excellent as well.
Summary: What I like about this game is the challenges, Theres all sorts of challenges at the different courses such as par 3 challenges and cip shot challenges and such. It helps keep the game interesting and it doesn't as boring as it would without them.
Summary: Gameplay 5/10: If you like what the Tiger Woods series has been for the last 5-years, just expect more of the same. I think the controls in the series are overly simplistic and the ability to make good shots far too easy. There is one addition, the shape stick. Links 2004 already had it 2 years ago! EA can be sly in their marketing, pretending they invented the shape stick. Fact is, Links 2004 had it and it works much better in Links.
Conclusion: Not the best golf game you'll ever play but by no means a poor effort. Great rental game with some good features. Online play can be frustrating as connection tends to drop and achievements are rock hard to complete. Excellent graphics.
Summary: Unless you are an absolute golf fanatic (or an Accountant!), I have two words for you... BOR ING! Though graphics are awesome and game-play is okay, I must admit having more fun playing Mario Golf on my GCN! Bottom line, don't buy this one without knowing what you're getting into!
Conclusion: I have recently switched to Xbox 360 from a regular Xbox and had Tiger Woods 06 on regular Xbox and now I have the game for the 360. Hmmm... where do I start complaining. First off, how are you going to have the Power Boost button the same as your spin button? Second, Why can't I see the cup sometimes when putting? Third, why are there only about 7 courses?
Conclusion: This version of Tiger Woods is really disappointing. I have owned every version of Tiger Woods on the Xbox and was looking forward to finally playing it on the xbox 360. Not only is there not much exciting over past versions but there are some serious flaws. 1. The color of the cup on the greens is very hard to see when you are putting. 2.
Conclusion: Well i wont say this game is poor, but i will say it could've been better. It's identical to the xbox classic and PS2 versions except for the beatiful graphics. So if you own the previous generation console versions, might as well stick with them. Still the best golf game around though.
