Summary: It appears that EA has rushed its titles to make the 360 launch date, and Tiger Woods 2006 is no exception. Graphically it's slightly better than its predecessors (most notably are the trees, which used to be flat pixels...here they're all polygons).
Summary: Unless you are an absolute golf fanatic (or an Accountant!), I have two words for you... BOR ING! Though graphics are awesome and game-play is okay, I must admit having more fun playing Mario Golf on my GCN! Bottom line, don't buy this one without knowing what you're getting into!
Conclusion: Not the best golf game you'll ever play but by no means a poor effort. Great rental game with some good features. Online play can be frustrating as connection tends to drop and achievements are rock hard to complete. Excellent graphics.
Conclusion: Well i wont say this game is poor, but i will say it could've been better. It's identical to the xbox classic and PS2 versions except for the beatiful graphics. So if you own the previous generation console versions, might as well stick with them. Still the best golf game around though.
Tiger Woods 06: Very good, especially for the money
17 May 2009
Excerpt: So, the first Tiger Woods game to hit the Xbox 360. Obviously, you would be expecting EA to deliver on graphics, gameplay and online play. Partly because its a Tiger Woods game, but mostly because its the first to be released on the 360.
Excerpt: Tiger Woods PGA Tour is the ultimate in golf gaming, it has totally dominated in this field and you can see why when you play this game. Tiger Woods is a serious game but at the same time it can be very fun, wether playing on your career on your own or playing with your mates.
Summary: This version is well slow at first of how to golf but many times you pick the speed up eventally here's the points if you get the game *yes a nice feel to the golf series which has many course's to try *ball moment is grand when you hit it and the wind will blow it in the sand sometimes *music wise...
Summary: I've got to say that I am disappointed that anyone would give this game 5 stars. Apart from the well publicised stripping down that EA seems to have done for all of their 360 release day titles, I thought Tiger 06 on 360 is decidedly average.
Summary: I initially downloaded Tiger Woods 07 on XBOX Live and really enjoyed the demo. Unfortunately I couldn't find this version in Malaysia, however I did manage to locate the 06 version and decided to buy.
Summary: Not much more needs to be said about the drawbacks of this version - fewer courses than the xbox version, fewer game modes. I'd like to say that the game is still a decent way to spend a few hours.
