Conclusion: The Witcher 2 is a rare kind of game. In a sea of friendly, focus-tested titles from big publishers, it operates without much compromise. While that lack of compromise or looking back causes a fair amount of frustration and hassle throughout The Witcher 2's 30 hours-or-so campaign, it's impossible...
Conclusion: Visually it is just a stunning game, while no where near as crisp and clean as the PC version, almost the whole game looks great, faces are quite expressive and do a good job conveying the emotions of the moment.
Conclusion: Despite these gripes with the system, it still feels good to control and like you’re a smart person for using it well. You can often fail a mission and carry on, knowing that you’ve affected the story because of it, rather than only having one completion condition.
Excerpt: There is often talk about how video games need to mature, and there is some truth to that, especially in RPGs. Very often games come down to saving the world from an ancient evil or challenging the leader of an evil empire. Characters are often shallow, with little motivation for what they do.
Excerpt: At a glance, Geralt doesn’t look like much of an action-RPG hero. With his white mane, leather pants, and grizzled scowl, you could mistake Witcher 2 ’s main character for an aging renaissance-faire enthusiast.
Pros: + Complicated but engaging tale shaped by your choices., + Fun combat with intuitive controls; lots of customization options; challenging foes.

Conclusion: After a good dozen or so hours of play, we were reaching for the Gold button that rewards games of the highest accolade. Unfortunately, after further play when the initial shock of the new (or, at least, the highly polished) had worn off, came minor issue after minor issue.
