Summary: This game is pretty good, but don't even think about paying $30 for it. Concept: 8/10 This is a heavily dramatic story based game where your decisions affect the other characters. It's the zombie apocalypse and the survivors in your group are tired, hungry, scared, and desperate. You must be the voice of reason and try to keep the peace. You won't be able to keep everyone happy and you won't be able to save everybody. These consequences make your decisions more dramatic.
Summary: The game is great. But the lag time is detrimental. Its almost not worth sitting through two minutes of stutters and missed scenes because of what? A glitch? something that wasn't fixed when it was produced for the Xbox? That's just poor quality then. And a huge disappointment. Its probably better to get for a different system if you're able, unlike I was.
Summary: I'll get some negatives out of the way. The graphics are mediocre at best. The character models, environments, items, and zombies look "bleh". The weapons look OK, but it doesn't excel in any graphical area. At some point, the scavenging gets repetitive. There's little variety in the areas, so when you're forced to look for items, it can get boring a few hours in. The items themselves don't look great or varied either. Items (drink cans, flairs, bottles, etc.
Summary: i wouldn't have voted this game GOTY though, the game was so limited in what you could do you could only do the story line and there was only one thing i missed cuz i didn't hide from a car driving down the road in one of the stories and that was easy enough to go back and redo
Summary: Perhaps I should have read the description better but this is not REALLY a game in the traditional sense. It is more like the "choose your own adventure" books from my childhood. Which is not bad really, but the game does not seem to require much gaming skills. Perhaps if I had not just come off a marathon of ZombiU frantic fighting and running, I might have appreciated the story-telling of this.
