Summary: Telltale games should be ashamed of themselves. This game shows promise for the writing, but it is completely unplayable from the disc. THERE IS NO OPTION TO INSTALL FROM THE DISC. HAVING A USB THUMBDRIVE EVEN WITH ENOUGH SPACE IS NOT GOING TO WORK. 2 years after release, the team still hasn't released a patch to let you download from the disc. Even after all the negative publicity. Guess what, it stutters so bad, you can't even get through the tutorial sections.
Summary: Garbage. The disc version of this game is absolutely absurd. Freezes, lag, no saves, it's like TTG doesn't care about their image or product and it shows. Really sad that they're the studio developing the Game of Thrones game which, by any indication of their previous failures, will also be a mess.
Summary: I know that I have "The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct" which is a totally different type of game and different publisher. However, I got this version knowing that it was TTG and written in comic book style. However, when I installed this on my Xbox 360 and began playing, I experienced lags, hiccups, and finally complete freezing of my console that I had to physically force a hard shutdown with the power button as nothing else responded.
Summary: The disc version of this game has massive flaws--hitching, playback errors, out of sync audio etc. This is the game company's (Telltale) fault, and it has been well-documented. DO NOT purchase the disc version of this game if you own Xbox 360.This game doesn't work. It freezes up from the minute you put it in.
Summary: The lag in this game is what kills it for me. I couldn't even make it 15 minutes through the game without lag death. And I really do mean death by lag. There are quick time events which require the correct response, or else you will die. The animation is so ridiculously choppy, the voices can desync by several seconds. It might help if you could install to the HDD, but for some reason, that's not an option. Why was this disabled??
Summary: Hard to figure this one out. Controls are badly done, gameplay leaves much to be desired. This is one of those that takes a theme they know will sell, puts it together quickly, promotes it, and never gets it right.
Summary: Bad game. Bad graphics. It takes too long to get to a save point and if you keep dying then you'll get frustrated and give up because the save points are automatic and they're far apart, and you cannot save on your own. that's really frustrating.
