Summary: I have always been a fan of simulation games: I sat in my father's lap and watched him play Train Simulation games when I was just a toddler. Then, as I got older, I became more interested in Microsoft Flight simulator. Now, I build and supply my space colonies on the Google Chrome browser game Star Supremacy, I play various families on the Sims franchises, I build Civilizations in Sid Meier's Civilization games, and others.
Summary: I bought this product because I had the computer version, but every time I would use it my computer would move very slowly. It's a very fun game. I didn't like that I couldn't use it to it's full extent. When I received it, the online pass was already activated. This is JUST like the PC version, except it has karma added to it. It's still the sims, but not worth getting if you already have the PC version.
Summary: If there was any confusion about what you're getting with the Sims 3 on Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3, let me clear it up for you: it's the Sims 3, the extremely popular PC life simulator, but on consoles. Obviously the game has been reworked to function with controllers instead of a mouse and keyboard, but there's also one other major addition: Karma Powers, a potent way to help or harm your Sims.
Summary: This game is ok but it allways seemed that you had to spend hours and hours making your sim happy when really, maybe your sim couldn't be happy. I grew frustrated when I helped my sim get a job and by the time my sim had to go to work, she was hungry, tired, had to go to the bathroom, had to shower, had to eat and was basically miserable.
Summary: This Sims has always been in my life, from the very first game to the latest expansion packs. The Sims 3 on console is almost exactly the same as the PC version, with some small changes. Although if you like a fast-paced game, it's in your best interest to buy this game on PC. The console version is a bit slower paced. All in all, it's a good buy.
Great installment, but lack of online interaction is very disappointing.

Summary: I have always been a fan of The Sims series, this game reminds me of why I've stuck with the games since the very beginning. The most customizable Sims game yet, especially with the option to download items and clothing made by other players while you're in-game, you can literally spend hours just creating your sim! The graphics are great, the game loads quickly, and I haven't had any problems with the online parts of the game.
Summary: The Sims 3 is a great game if you have always been a fan of the Sims, it has some new thing like the karma points or giving your Sim a type of personality that will help him or her through out their life, great game if you like The Sims
