Summary: Boring compared to PC, I bought it because I am a huge SIMS fan and received a PS3 console recently. I read mixed reviews before I purchased it and even thought it was only $20, that's twenty bucks I won't get back. I would rather play GTA 5 anyday and run around in my apartment there and do missions. If I wanted to drive around, I'd also play GTA; at least with that I am able drive the car the way I want to! Lousy jump from PC game to PS3 console.
Die Hard Sims Fan? PC -> Console User? Only have a console?
14 July 2011
Summary: Downs: Cannot import PC creations, only console to console creations (XBOX to PS3, visa versa), limited graphic capabilities, limited interface options, loading times, limited creation opportunities, frame rate shutters on the regular. Limited everything, hey it is a console game, what is new... Ups: A decent representation of The Sims in a new way. I had never played The Sims on a console before, and I gave it a shot.
Summary: This is one of the absolute weirdest games, and not in a good way. But that is not the problem with this game. It is SO much better for the PC, and you will never hear me say that, ever. The controls are difficult for the 360 and PS3, the camera views are very hard to cope with which normally isn't a problem with Xbox, and building houses is very difficult. Get the PC version of this. Otherwise, this game STINKS!!!!!!!!!
Summary: This game was not very good! You can't walk around as your sim only clicking a place and he'll follow. When you click a spot you may think it like froze, but it didn't you just have to wait. Then you'll regret clicking the same thing over and over. For example, if you take a bath and you want it to be over, so you click it again, but when it's finnished he has to take another two min. bath and another until the amount you click on it catches up with you!
Summary: I purchased the Sims 3 after having played (and loved) sims 1 and 2. I had them for playstation only, so had the fun of doing quests to get them to move to new houses etc. I was terribly dissapointed when the Sims 3 did not have this feature. It is open ended gameplay like the PC versions of one and two. It also does not have the direct player control like the Sims 2 had.
Summary: SIMS 3 WAS HORRIBLE. A huge chunk of the game is hard, and you have to do the same routine every sim day to take care of your sim. The slightest bad thing in the life of a sim could ruin their life or worse. A lot of the game was confusing and hard to understand or you can't get to something.
Summary: ok first things i love sims. i have sims 3 for the computer but my disc drive is broken so i got this to play while i find a way to fix my computer. well im not impress it sucks i mean i thought it was going to be like the computer game its not it horribly worse. they took away all the good things about the computer game threw it out and what was left they took and put it on the console ahh so glad i got the sims on computer.
