This game is one of the best I've played

  • Summary: This game is fantastic. The graphics are good for when it came out. The gameplay almost never gets old. If you like Star Wars Battlefront 1 and 2 you will really like this. You can play as the orcs and Uruk-hai as well as Gondor, Rohan, and the Elves. Playing as trolls and Ents is also really fun. You can also ride Wargs and horses for mounted combat. This is a game you should really get.

  • Summary: Been playing through this game with two friends and it is a blast. Graphics are pretty good, especially the character models. Combat is very visceral and fun, with the various special abilities mixing in with quick-time like critical hits. Yes, it can be repetitive, but I can't think of any video game which does not contain repetitive combat mechanics. Throughout the campaign I still looked forward to each fight.

Excellent Game!

  • Summary: As others have said, the multiplayer on this game makes it a memorable gaming experience. Alone, the game is fun and with a friend the game is a competitive race-to-kill for experience. The game is fairly easy on normal, so if you want a challenge play on a harder difficulty (though I beat the game on multiplayer so I'm sure that made it easier). Plenty of replayability and draw to play a New Game plus.

Action packed

  • Summary: This game is a giant free for all fight. You play as either a ranger, loremaster, or champion and all classes play the same. It explores the battle that took place across Middle-Earth when Frodo was trekking through Mordor. It brings back familiar faces like Gandalf, Aragorn, and Gimli. It also brings new characters into the frey. It is a great game and I recomend it to all Lord of the Rings fans.

A Great Game for Anyone

Wyatt Heritage, Amazon
1 February 2013
  • Summary: I was not sure whether I would like this game or not, but man am I glad that I tried it out. The combat is by far the best part. It is quick, dodgy, and satisfying. It reminds me of the combat in Fable but less loose, or maybe Kingdoms of Amular. I was not expecting much out of the story, but it really delivered. Towards the end, it was very intense. It really didn't have too much involvement with the Fellowship, but there were a few characters included.
