First RTS for 360
10 February 2014
Summary: Obviously as a port from the PC version this is not going to give you the full RTS LOTR experiance, but its the next best thing if you are not a PC gamer. Overall a great game, has its flaws like any port of a game, but they should not turn you away. If your a LOTR fan or an RTS fan, this is for you.
Summary: This game is really fun... Better on pc tho unless you would like some achievments..... And unfortunatly there is no more online... But if you like lord of the rings and havent played this yet i recomend playing it.
Summary: this was a very good game with a lot of content but once you did both sides of the story (good and evil) you really lose some of the replay value. the graphics arent the best but otherwise this is a realy good game the hero creation is very good where you can create a hero from any race good or bad and use it in a skirmish round
There's no online Server system for any Battle For Middle Earth game anymore

Summary: So its not worth buying Battle for Middle Earth 2 anymore. The online Service for Battle for Middle Earth games (BFME 1, 2 and Rise of the Witchking) has been terminated on December 31th, 2010. The game itself is good, its just that you get no real worth out of your money anymore, since the CD-key is not needed to play online anymore. There are no goodies inside the box, its just the DVD and a small installation handbook inside.
Summary: The game is fun on PC or on 360 however I would recommend it on PC over the 360 for better controls. At first its hard to get used to the controls, but as you get used to them they are pretty easy to master. The game allows players to go inside the movies and even further into the books. I loved both the movies and the books and will say this game is very well made. There are many factions to play as and each has its unique building style and characters.
Summary: As far as real time strategy games go, there are very few for consoles, but this game, to me, is better quality and has more options available than many expensive, High Power PC games. I would recommend Lord of the Rings, Battle for Middle Earth 2 for anyone with an Xbox 360 looking for a game that will make you think on the run!

Summary: This is a great game, at least for those that enjoy RTSs. (Real, Time, Strategies) This is also the first RTS any company did that didn't suck. The controls take some getting used to, but they actually work for the console. You get to choose from either the "good" campaign, or the "evil" campaign. Allowing for fun on either side of the spectrum.
