Summary: I expected to be able to login and play head to head against another player but sadly I was shot down from the start and can't relive the moments when I first got my hands on this game. Overall, the campaign is good but in long periods of time it is very easy to win with a large garrison of troops.
Summary: Obviously as a port from the PC version this is not going to give you the full RTS LOTR experiance, but its the next best thing if you are not a PC gamer. Overall a great game, has its flaws like any port of a game, but they should not turn you away. If your a LOTR fan or an RTS fan, this is for you.
Summary: This was my favorite console game, it was my second and would be my last. The lasting appeal was great because it never gets boring, there is two campaigns, good and evil. Both campaigns have 8 missions each which can last from 30 minutes to an hour and a half. When you complete the campaigns you can play them again or you can go onto a Skirmish match. When you play in Skirmish you can choose from, I believe over 12 races and vs up to 3 other computer players.
Summary: I would like to warn everybody before purchasing this from here or another site that the multiplayer on this has been shut down by EA a couple months ago. So if you're buying this for the multiplayer, don't bother. You'll only get to play single player. Aside from that, it's actually a pretty good game, similar to Halo Wars, only more complex and detailed.
Summary: What a great game! They adapted a computer game seamlessly to a console. I don't know how they managed but the controls are very easy and intuitive. Clearly not as much as a computer itself with all the keys and hot keys available, but very easy to use.
