Summary: Being an older game, its not to bad. Graphics are a little shaky, but it was made in '06. A lot of the gameplay styles are carried over to The Godfather 2 (which I RECOMMEND). The controls are somewhat weird though. There is DLC for this game, from guns, to recruit-able mafia members, and challenges. Businesses on the game are extort-able, there are rackets to launder money from, and mafia's to take down.
Summary: While dated, The Godfather is a game that is fun to play. Originally released on the Playstation 2, I spent quality hours playing this game and enjoyed nearly every moment of it. Much of the missions tend to repeat themselves, like any "Sandbox World" games do, but it is a lot of fun to fight your way through a building held by a rival Mafia family to take it over and add it to your growing Mafia empire.
Summary: The godfather is like 1930's gta. You get cool guns, old cars, a realistic old new york. The graphics are good and i really like the gameplay. I wish the map was larger but i think it was average size. The custimization of the player is incredible.
Summary: This video game is fair in my opinion, it is goo for those who are into the mafia like myself, but it fails to show the true life of a mobster, because although the game advertises choosing to negotiate or fight it is all fight. Within a little gameplay the game gets very repetitive and the storyline is good but not amazing and that is where this game fails because you never get that genuine Godfather feeling in it that Coppalla brought and so the game feels rather...
Conclusion: Many people that play video games know that games based off of movies tend to suck(witht the exception of King Kong, Golden Eye 64, and some others). When I got The Godfatther, that's what I was thinking when I turned it on. When I started playing, I was happily wrong. I found this game to be great. There is just so much to do, and with it's Saints Row style gameplay I think alot of people would like it. You start off as a nobody in New York.
Conclusion: The Godfather was the first game i bought when i purchased the Xbox 360 console, and i havint been disappointed to my liking, altough i understand other reviews from people who have played other versions upon Xbox and Ps2 and such as, who say there is not a great deal of difference of between the versions and i can see that by the pics and trailers for the formats.
Summary: This game is great it has taken me a good few months to complete and I managed to 700 achievement points. You get to start off as an enforcer for the Corleone's. You can carry out missions to progress in the story, you can see cut scenes that were in the movie. Also you can explore the different towns, like Little Italy, Brooklyn, Midtown, Hell's Kitchen, and New Jersey. Steel a car and drive round them, extorting as many businesses as possible.

Pros: lots of things to do so game never ends
Cons: can be hard to find all safes and film reels, not important though
Excerpt: "The godfather game is a good reflection of New York in the 1950's. There are five districts: Brooklyn, Hell's Kitchen, Midtown, Little Italy, New Jersey. The missions go in the sequence of the film. Your ultimate aim is to become the Don of New York City. Businesses have to be taken over. Shopkeepers give little resistance, and can be easily intimidated into giving more money. The hardest thing to take over are the warehouses, so these are best left ...
