Summary: I heard about this game from a few friends of mine. It's dark. It's character/story-driven. It's very pulpy and noir-ish. If those elements ensnare you, it's worth your time. Not often do I find myself actually caring about the characters in a game I'm playing, but this one had me enthralled. The Darkness II is very well-written, and hopefully you'll find it as violently endearing as I did.
Quick, visceral action that almost offers more than a rehash of first person shooters.

Summary: The Darkness II is quick game that can be completed in 5-6 hours. However, the action is almost unrelenting. "Almost", because there are 4 or 5 completely boring sequences where Jackie has to walk (not run) around talking to people in order to progress the story. Like the first "The Darkness", the character models are fantastic and the story is worth following. Plus, there is no more running around aimlessly in the illusion of an open world.
Summary: I was a big fan of the original game, it stood apart from many FPS games at the time by virtue of its excellent story telling at the time as well as being a fun game to play. It took me a while to pick up the sequel as I was worried that the new developers would have lost the magic of the original and the new art style didn't interest me. Both turned out to be foolish concerns and with the game now available for only a tenner I thought it time to give it a try.
Summary: I have to be honest I have not started to play this game yet!. But from what I played in the demo OMG this game is alittle better than the first one with more thing to do this time around with your powers that alone is Awsome (If you played the firt one then you`ll know what I mean)
Summary: I bought this game because I played the first one on xbox 360 when the first 360 came out. I love the game. I just don't like certain parts where you have to impress somebody in the game just to get and achievement. It's fun to play though. Just not all the time.
Summary: I have played the first game. But this one is better. This game was easy on the hardest difficulty. I like how you grab things and you can throw them at your enemies or use them as sheilds. Also having to select different things in the middle of a battle is a plus. Like the swarm, or being able to shoot through things or being able to grab black holes and throw them at your enemies. That is all a plus for this game.
Summary: In 2007, the Sweedish studio Starbreeze released their first current gen ( well 7th gen on consoles if your reading this post 2013) agame called The Darkness based on the comics carrying the same name. Instead of sticking to he comics, they went for their own vision and created one of my personally most favorite games ever made. The game didn't sell well ( yeah that problem killed many good games in 7th gen) and starbreeze gave up on the sequel.
Summary: If you liked the Darkness then you will probably like Darkness II. Like Darkeness, Darkness II has a great story line. The mecanics of the game are great and I found it easy and fun to play. I felt totally emersed and time fly by while I was playing. The game very similiar to the first game...and I would say that's it major downfall. The game didn't really bring anything new to the table for the player to do. There are new badguys but not many new toys.
