Summary: The game seems to jump around and excepts you to already understand and grasp concepts in the comic (which most players have not read). It is a far cry from the first Darkness game, which was exceptionally more enjoyable to play (and poke fun at) than this steaming pile. It was a mistake to try to return to the comical graphics and plot when the first game was only loosely based off it. Bad ideas atop bad ideas.

Summary: I got this game for the brutalness and the story, the game delivers but it is not worth $50-$60. I would recommend waiting until price drop, i got this game and got a $10 credit from amazon for preodering and still feel slightly ripped off because of story mode and online co op mode being so short.
Summary: I was really excited when I heard that *finally* a sequel was being made to one of the most enjoyable console games I've played this generation! That a different developer was making Darkness 2 and using a different art style didn't phase me whatsoever - it looked good and the concepts seemed solid on paper in my opinion. Everything good so far.... ...And then I played the game.
