I really wanted this to be a good game.
27 May 2015
Summary: I am a big fan of Xcom and I was really hoping this game would be cool, because it LOOKS cool. Sadly, the control scheme is horrible, the way your partners act is ridiculous (running directly into enemy fire, or standing in the open).
Summary: When I was first thinking about getting the game the reviews made me sway if I would like it or not. I love the Xcom games and find that they give me the realistic strategy I love in games, that what happens in one particular mission can impact the expirence. I ended up getting the game.
Summary: When this game was announced back in E3 of 2010 as a first person shooter, the response was very negative. A man named SpoonyOne stated "Betrayal" on the X-Com faithful. Three years later, the game is released. Since then, the game was re-branded as a third person shooter with tactical elements.
Summary: This game has an interesting premise; its the 1960s and an alien invasion comes to Earth. A secret group, XCOM, is the world's last defense and you're playing the main character, William Carter. That's where the fun ends.
Summary: I had read discouraging reviews about this game, but I was a big fan of XCOM: Enemy Unknown and the price on the Bureau had dropped low enough that I was willing to take the chance. I am so glad I did. I KILLED this game and enjoyed every moment.
