Summary: There was a high bar for the Amazing Spiderman set by the impressive graphics in various trailers and gameplay potential. All of this potential was squandered by activision a gaming company in which I trust which is a contributing factor to my disappointment. Also, the voice actors were nothing like any of the characters and the graphics during gameplay were blurry and difficult to work with.
Summary: I was very disappointed about this game . It was ok but not great . You do the same moves over and over and the moves weren't amazing at all . The side missions involving saving people are too repetitive and can get boring . The classic villains are not the same you remember from the comics and cartoons . They don't talk or taunt spider-man at all , all they do is screech and scream . the villains don't say a word !
Summary: It's a good game. The graphics are good, the gameplay okay. It has about two weeks lasting appeal for teens but it's good for kids who love superheroes. I wouldn't recommend it for people who play call of duty and halo or else you will be disappointed. Overall it's great for kids 8 to 11. It uses some language but its not bad only like four times, if you want you could have him turn of the volume the only thing is the sounds pretty important.
Summary: The amazing spiderman is first taking place after the movie, so i reccomend go see the movie first. The campaign is pretty good but is kind of repetitive. It only lasted me about 2 days to beat it. The side missions are where it gets very very repetitive if you select the car chase its only one car the whole time every time you select it and to take the bad guys out its the same moves every single time. Its also disturbing how spidey's webs dont even attach to buildings.
Summary: I was hoping for more of a challenging game, similar to Spider-Man 3, but the gameplay was too easy and thee wasn't much of a challenge when fighting enemies. All you need to do is keep hitting the attack button and occasionally evade. The option to do certain attack moves and combos in Spider-Man 3 made the game far more entertaining, as did web swinging. I enjoyed playing through it once, but wouldn't play it again after completion.
Summary: As a casual fan of Spiderman I found this game alright. Considering it is a movie tie in though it was better than I expected. The free to roam set up is fun and probably done better than the recent Batman game however the combat system, although ok, isn't anywhere near as good as Batman. Graphically the game looks ok but is let down by the tedious repetitive missions that have you do the same thing constantly.
