Great game, albeit a little short

Summary: A puzzle/pixel hunter type game with a great story. It clocked in a little short and some of the puzzles were a little on the difficult side (as they offered little instruction/clues, and were somewhat obscure) but in the end they were all solvable. I can't wait to play it again! My wife played this and loved it. Much improved from Frogwares' Sherlock Holmes versus Jack the Ripper (2009) which was also good but the engine felt a little dated.
Summary: It came to me in excellent condition. The game itself I have yet to finish, but it seems like (as a game, it's probably 3-4 stars for entertainment value), but I rated so highly because it came to me so fast and in near perfect condition. The game requires an eye for detail (because you are Sherlock Holmes), but there are some more confusing tasks involved in the game itself, which require a walkthrough.
Summary: I bought this game for my 13yo step-daughter who is a huge Sherlock Holmes fan. She absolutely loves it. I bought it based on reviews from people who have actually played it and, according to her, they are very accurate. This is her first "M" rating game and as far as I can tell so far it is only because of the nature of the game.
Summary: I'm not a 'deducting mind' type of person but a fan of Sherlock Holmes' stories, but i loved the storyline and graphics. Some scenes were more challenging than others and puzzles can be quite thought provoking, but it's part of the game. Lots of fun!
