I enjoyed playing this game

Cheryl, Amazon

  • Summary: I enjoyed playing this game, even with all the skipping scenes and audio cutting off. Up until I got to near the end when there was a cliffhanger cut scene and, even though there was more game to play, the entire picture cut out and I had to physically eject the game from the console in order to get anything to come back onto the screen. I took the disc out and blew on it to make sure there was no dust on it, and it didn't work.

This game would have been great, except that it has so many glitches

  • Summary: This game would have been great, except that it has so many glitches. Some of them are minor, but some of them are game ending glitches where the glitch cannot be fixed so you have to restart from your last save, that's IF you saved because the gamed doesn't automatically save. I had to restart the whole game after playing for about 4 hours because the glitch was impossible to get past. I tried everything and nothing worked to fixed the glitches.

  • Summary: While it is improved by Sherlock Holmes vs Jack the Ripper standards, this game also falls painfully flat for several reasons. The voices don't even match the characters' faces. Now, I'm not saying that you can't have fun; I had a great time solving all the interesting problems that were thrown at me. I just didn't find them very engaging. They were either too hard or too easy.

Puzzle Heavy Game; Good Representation of Holmes and Watson

  • Summary: The Testament of Sherlock Holmes is a wonderful game; it has everything I look for: it is challenging, has action, plot, a wonderful story, and fantastic voice acting. I got this game for $15, and it was worth it for the acting and animation alone. This game's story is intriguing, and unlike other formats I've seen when it comes to Holmes. The reason it has four stars is because of the puzzles -- the game is dependent on them.

  • Summary: Sherlock Holmes was a pleasant surprise. I had started playing it but found myself distracted by other action games. I got sick and needed something low key so decided to finish the game. It is by no means mindblowing or game changing but it was a great little story line. Puzzles were easy enough and if you do get stuck the option to skip does eventually show up. I wouldn't pay too Sherlock Holmes was a pleasant surprise.

Reminds me of Siberia game on Xbox, very much.

  • Summary: Another one of those games that requires walkthrough assistance! I'm pretty smart and this game foiled me with vagueness, as to which logic and measures to use. With walkthrough assistance, not too bad.

  • Summary: Just finished this cool mystery game. One of the best mystery game i ever played. The story is about Sherlock Holmes, after the case of Jack The Ripper. Sherlock found himself in a case where a bishop was killed brutally. While finding the murderers, he found out that the case leads to a bigger plot, with someone pulling the string behind the curtain. Who is it? And why? And how? Play, and Just finished this cool mystery game. One of the best mystery game i ever played.

Neither Spectacular Nor Terrible

Bill Beebop, Amazon

  • Summary: Okay, I feel obligated to put a disclaimer at the beginning because there's always SOMEONE who doesn't understand: THIS IS NOT AN ACTION GAME. You won't be chasing after suspects in the street, you can't attack your enemies, and the most physical activity you will do will be moving around London at a light jog. You will be using your brain, not your reflexes.
