TMNT Review

IGN Entertainment
11 March 2010
  • Conclusion: OK, maybe I’m being a little harsh on TMNT , as it’s obviously aimed toward a younger demographic than something like Ninja Gaiden . However, there’s no denying that the game is just too easy, especially for all of the rabid Turtles fans out there. Worst of all, you can’t change the difficulty at all, something that would have been nice to give seasoned gamers more of a challenge. And what’s up with the complete lack of a co-op mode?

Expert Review

TheStar.com
18 April 2007
  • Excerpt: Oh look, a kid-friendly game based on a movie about angst-addled hybrid human Testudines -- what more could you want? Well, some depth, maybe. But at least you get to build up your 'rage' meter so you can go ape -- uh, turtle -- on the baddies. How's that for wholesome?

TMNT

Gaming Evolution
20 March 2007
  • Conclusion: For those avid TMNT fans around the world, this is a title that you probably want to bypass. The game has a rating of E10, but designed in a way that youthful gamers around the age of 6-8 could play. If you are looking to acquire a quick 1000 gamer score points, this is your game. With no multiplayer mode, single- button action, and linear level design, you aren’t left with much to enjoy.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Defunct Games
20 March 2007
  • Summary: There's no denying how many people want to revisit their youth and play this game, but outside of nostalgia the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game is short and shallow. Then again, it's also an exciting action game full of great characters and cool levels. The fact that this version of the game allows you to play online makes this a must own for anybody who loved the turtles. This product was submitted by the publisher for review.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Console Monster
19 May 2009
  • Summary: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has been around for ages! Many of you will know (especially if you have kids) that it recently hit the big screens once again, and so Ubisoft have released TMNT on the Xbox 360 as a movie tie-in, which usually spells out disaster for a game but fear not, it’s not all bad!
  • Pros: Nice jumping sequences and platform action, Sound effects tie in with the movie very well, Very fun for a younger generation
  • Cons: Over in a few hours, No multiplayer, Not worth the budget price tag
